My buddy's father is switching the frame on his Vette. I think its from the 70's and I know they had the emergency brake pads behind the rotor. I am not sure if that came on the original though. But if not a few wacks from a rubber mallet, like NedsTesticles said, should work. |

yes. probably seized on. use a block of wood against the rotor, and give 'er a good shot with a hammer. that or try to spray some wd-40 in behind to loosen the rust. my buddy uses coca cola or pepsi to loosen rust. saw it work on rusted lug nuts with my own eyes, was suprised too..... :D you'll have to let it soak in tho |

dopn't be skeerd... you don't wanna hit it real hard or anything, just give it a few little raps to knock it loose. It's pretty typical to have a bunch of brake dust and rust and shit built up behind the rotor. I don't know much about vettes in particular, so you may wanna listen to Will too. |
