There is an update available for the stiletto that fixes bugs, improves WiFi, speeds up the menus, and adds a displayable clock. You can get one of two ways. Either automatically by WiFi or manually through USB cable & the My Sirius Studio software.

Is no secret I highly recommend TSS. They have great customer service and a great return policy. That's where I got mine from.
They now have it for 290 and free shipping via Priority Mail.
I highly suggest you get it with one of the docks and Sirius is still offering a $70 mail in rebate when you purchase the dock and the Stiletto toguether. That is what I did back in Dec. :)

| Did the update tonight and everything went smoothly. I noticed that after the update installed and I restarted the Stiletto, I got a message saying my dock (home) was update. I put the Stiletto in my car dock when I went out but never got a "dock updated" message. Was only the home dock updated and not the car dock? |

I only have the car dock, and my Stiletto updated there. |

Well, I ran it in the car dock for 30+ minutes this morning and saw no update. Not sure if I should be concerned or not because everything seems to be working great. |

Everything went OK with the upgrade. couldn't figure out how to do it WiFi so i just used the USB to do it. |

Yes, the clocks shows. I took the battery off and put it back and the next time I put it in the car dock it did two Sirius updates. I am showing version 1.0.0.13 in my car dock and version 1.0.0.22 in my home dock. Seems like I saw a picture showing 1.0.0.14.
Anyway, everything is working fine, even when moving from dock to dock. I am a happy camper!!! Just hope the next update gives us 128kps on WiFi. I find it hard to listen to the poor 32kps quality. |

| My MSS software says that there are no updates available when I go to device settings to update with the USB cable. Any thoughts? Anyone else have this problem? |

| I recommend www.tss-radio.com too, even though I haven't purchased anything yet, I have observed that Taylor fulfills his commitments - over time I've learned that salespeople who follow through on their commitments are rare in retail, worth more than a 50% off sale, and deserve to be patronized. My next Sirius equipment upgrade (whatever that may be) is coming from TSS. |

My Stiletto updated itself, on it's own, on Monday when I connected via wifi to listen; later in the day when I docked it, it updated the dock as well. Maybe your's did it's own updating too. |

Awesome, Cant wait. The ULTIMATE upgrade/update would be for them to make the Stiletto capable to receive Video images on it's LCD Screen. WISH!!!! RIGHT!!!

I notice that since my update I don't get the channel name announced at channel change. I really miss that since I have the Stiletto upstairs and control it via remote and IR- extender. I can listen to Sirius anywhere- kitchen, living room, bedroom, or deck!
Any ideas if there's a way to get that to work again?
PS- if you ever get the "antenna not detected" error - even though everything is OK... just unplug power from dock and then plug it back in. Fixed mine immediately. |

The channel name option may be turned off. I turned mine off since it was annoying. |

Yes.... Went to http://www.siriusbackstage.com they have a bulletin that says it will be wrong until April 1. They think this will be fixed in time for the fall back.
Keep this in mind when using your timers this month. |

It looks like the channel name works when you scan or "roll thru" channels but not when you switch directly via remote. When you do it that way it just goes to the channel and doesn't announce.
To users like me who control their Stiletto from another room this is very useful- because it lets you know you are on the right channel.
PS- I picked up a silicone Stiletto case and love it except... you have to take it off everytime you dock it. The mylar protective face sheets make a lot of sense too! |

I changed the time zone as well
the only problem I have is getting it to stay on all night when it is docked in the car so it will record shows on schedule |

| Yea, the clock thing is kinda fucked. I mean they passed the legislation years ago about the new DST. Geeeez, I also switched time zones a while ago. I am now in Newfoundland!!! |
