ATLANTA (AP) - Michael Vick reluctantly surrendered a water bottle to security at Miami International Airport that contained a residue "closely associated with marijuana," police said Wednesday.
The Atlanta Falcons' quarterback entered a concourse Wednesday morning at the airport with the 20-ounce bottle. He eventually handed it over and boarded his flight to Atlanta. But his initial reluctance to turn over the bottle aroused suspicion among airport security screeners, a police report said.
The bottle was found to have a hidden compartment that contained "a small amount of dark particulate and a pungent aroma closely associated with marijuana," the report said. The compartment was hidden by the bottle's label so that it appeared to be a full bottle of water when held upright, police said.
No charges have been filed, but police said the bottle would be sent to a lab for analysis.
Vick did not immediately return a phone call early Thursday.
"We plan to look into the matter and discuss it with Michael Vick before having any further comment," Falcons spokesman Reggie Roberts said. |

I agree! But you have to realize that they most of the people on the show go raises and if there is only so much money in the budget then what can they do. You cant blame Howard for getting a great contract. And you cant blame him for having to stay within the budget. If there wasnt enough money at the end of the day to pay everyone then someone had to go. And I think we all know if Howard or the fans have anything to say about it Bubba will get a nice raise at the end of his contract. |

I just think that maybe Howard should be a little more concerned with his stock options as opposed to his cash in hand.... bottom line, I think it's greedy. Imean honestly, what the hell is Howard gonna do with ALL of that fucking money??? For christ's sake, one tenth of his bonus alone split two ways between Bubba and Scotty would make a huge impact on their contracts, their happiness, and their loyalty to the company. I just want to call a spade a spade... Howard's shown that he's much more concerned about increasing his own personal empire as opposed to building sirius, that's what I see. I still enjoy the hell out of his show and will always remain a huge fan, but I just choose to recognize the situation for what it is. |

Dude I am defiantely not arguing with you. I am a huge fan of the show and I love listening to him & Bubba everyday. And yes, if he was so concerned about Bubba or Ferrell's lively hood then he would cut them in on some of the bonus. Over the past year I have seen that Bubba and Ferrell are so much more for the fans and they are willing to do whatever for the fans. They will basically do what will make all of us happy. But we cant blame Howard for the deal he made or the deals that Bubba & Ferrell made. Its not his fault that they made the deals they did. Do they are deserve a portion of the bonus or a bonus or a contract renegotiation? Shit yeah! But is it Howard's fault? NO! |
