Speaking of documentaries, is there really one in the works centering all on the JD/Kimberly Kane relationship? I heard Howard mention that but wasn't quite sure if he was kidding or not.

Whoever directed this special needs to go back to film school. Everytime it cuts to a close up of the host, the actor is looking to the opposite side of the camera from the master. It's called Crossing the Line. Very distracting.

poor direction and editing like this makes me crazy! not to mention this entire episode could have been wrapped up in 20-30 minutes! instead it goes on and on and on...

The reason why this 30 minute documentary turned into an hour and a half is because Doug Goodstein and company have to interview every person that works or is associated with the show. I turned it off about 20 minutes in as I knew this was going nowhere. The only interesting information I needed to see what the foundation and where the sybian came from.

Yea to be honest when the creator was walking the table with the line of different incarnations of the Sybians in the past and explaining all the different parts, etc, I started fast forwarding there as it was dragging big time. I mostly wanted to get to the section of how it related more to being on the show itself.

But it's funny, I guess I hadn't watched the Jenna episode in awhile because I'd forgotten this, that there she is being the first one riding the thing in studio, and it just cracks me up that like every 15 seconds Howard would keep on shushing -- except he was really the ONLY one talking mostly. :p So he'd go on and on about something, then apparently just shush himself. (which, I for one feel he STILL talks too much during the things, to say nothing of the WELL covered argument of how poorly their shot by DePace and Goodstein, et al.)

it was a bit long, they could have easily dropped about a half hour off of it......other than that it was good.
