Question about the S50 "my channel" function - Click HERE to go to the original thread with graphics

How exactly does it work? I've inadvertently recorded some stuff in the "my channels" section in the past, but I have no idea how it got there. The manual never explained it clearly, and I haven't been able to do it since. Is it possible to record a station and listen to mp3's at the same time?

Go to "Playlists" by pushing the uppermost button on the right side of the S-50. Scroll up or down wih the FF or Rev buttons on the same side of the radio. You can do the same thing with the remote or with the docks.

OK, I know how to access playlists, my problem is with using the "my channels" function. It seems there is no way to set it, nor is there any way for it to record while you listen to either A: a different station, or B: playlists/mp3's. Yet somehow my unit recorded 3 hours of area 33 and I don't remember even going to that channel all day.

As far as I know my channels is based on what you listen to most often. It saves songs from the times you listen I think.
