According to mmaweekly's rumor section it could happen.
UFC 69: APRIL 7, 2007 IN HOUSTON, TEXAS
-Georges St. Pierre (#1 Welterweight in the World)* vs. Matt Serra [this fight will take place as soon as St. Pierre's injured knee is healed, which could be as early as the April show]
-Luke Cummo vs. Josh Haynes
-Diego Sanchez (#4 Welterweight)* vs. TBA (possibly Josh Koscheck)
-Joe Stevenson vs. TBA (possibly Caol Uno)

That's the stupidest comment I've seen yet. I'm guessing the real reason you think Josh is a great figher is only because you met the guy.
I haven't seen Koscheck 'finish' a fight yet.....
I've seen him go the distance in every fight....
I've seen him take people down, get on top of them, and then NOT ground-n-pound
I've seen him take people down, get on top of them, and then NOT look for a submission
I've seen him take people down, get on top of them, and then NOT advance his position
For a guy who certainly 'talks tough' and acts like a badass (least he did on TUF season 1) he certainly doesn't seem to have the fucking desire to finish a fight.
I hope Diego pounds this mother fucker a la Sean Salmon...... I don't want Koscheck dead, but I'd certainly love to see him get his ass just knocked the fuck out.... Don't act like a badass and then NEVER finish a fight...... |
