I'll post my official NFL pick later this week with analysis, but with the proposition sheets starting to trickle in from various sportsbooks, the LONGSHOTS I may throw a few bones on:
will there be a safety? YES +650
HEDGE:
game total between 43-49 +300
" " 50-56 +300
MVP ThomasJones +800
all from HollywoodSportsbook; the 2 hedge bets is a guaranteed profit maker if the game total lands anywhere between 43 and 56

+650 means that for every $100 you bet you win back $650 plus your origional $100.
-650 would mean that you need to bet $650 to win $100. |

As KingofWhites sez, when you see +**0 odds listed, you just simply magnify it by 6.5 times. Now seeing a minus moneyline indication is a little trickier, it means you will not double your money on a certain bet, you have to use 100 divided by the listed -moneyline to get your payout for a winning bet on a minus moneyline
example:
100/120=.83
Here are a few moneyline conversions
101 0.990 $100 = 99.00
110 0.909 $100 = 90.91 (on all standard bets, this is the typical payout)
115 0.870 $100 = 86.96
120 0.833 $100 = 83.33
125 0.800 $100 = 80.00
150 0.667 $100 = 66.67
175 0.571 $100 = 57.14
200 0.500 $100 = 50.00
225 0.444 $100 = 44.44
250 0.400 $100 = 40.00 |
