Tonights soliloquy begins by noticing that they mention the news parody Daily Show.
John Stewart is good at what he does, a better version of the SNL news. Saw him do standup summer 2006 nice blend of political and social comedy
mentioning news setup shows (abc- what would you do?) , reality based programing -- dateline, to catch a predator anyone
ted koppel mentions that 60 minutes is the first news program that turned a profit.
*Which resulted in many news magazines because tv neworks saw a new revenue stream.
*That led to news departments getting downsized for short sighted business budget reasons.
