Operation K10 has been announced!!
You guys have been wanting a live Friday morning show and Bubba has agreed to slip into the spot. He'll still be on at 3PM Monday - Thursday but on Fridays he'll be in at 6AM. This should bring alot of attention to the show and help in grow even bigger than it already is.
Bubba's first Friday will be February 23rd. March 22nd has already been scheduled as well.
Now if he could just get a long term contract. Congrats Bubba, corporate must not hate you after all. |

But Friday afternoon will ALWAYS be Friday afternoon no matter who is on the radio - now we get Bubba early to help us get through the last day of the w*** week.

midnight-1 a.m.: special shows -- The Intern Show REPLAY
1 a.m. - 5 a.m.: Bubba, Thursday replay
5 a.m. - 6 a.m.: ? special show replay
6 a.m. - 10 a.m.: Bubba, Friday live
10 a.m. - 2 p.m.: Ferrall, Thursday replay
2 p.m. - 3 p.m.: ? special show replay (Riley Martin)
3 p.m. - 7 p.m.: Bubba, Friday (morning) replay

This is GREAT. I will totally enjoy Bubba's show on Friday morning's....Hell I would listen to his show no matter the time or day. Bubba's show is fresh and new everyday and will only grow with this new time slot.
I sure hope they replay the show in the normal afternoon slot. I have grown used to driving home to Bubba and the boys everyday....

not sure about that... why? they are in Tampa... they are lucky to get local people in the area... I will say more nascar and fighting/wrestling people. |

I'm stoked to hear Bubba on Friday mornings.
I'm in Cali and work 9-5 everyday - meaning that I miss the live broadcast of Bubba everyday. It's rare when I can check out the replay, due to my married status. I guess that MTT will be on 100 so there is no west coast feed for Bubba on Friday... If Bubba is on 3am(my time) on Fridays, it looks as though I will miss most of his show once again.
I acknowledge the fact that these stations have a heavy East Coast bias, and I accept that.
But it sure is frustrating to have to rely on the spotty (at best) weekend replays to get caught up on BTLS.
I'm not suggesting a solution...I'm just taking a ride on the waaambulance.

| I liked the idea at first. But the more I think about it, the more I kind of don't like it. So on Friday's from 10 AM til 7 PM there will be no live content? I guess if Bubba's ok with it and this is a precurser to Bubba getting an extended contract and raise. I just think that something more original can be done with the Mastertape Theater concept, and leave Bubba where he is. |

I thought about that too, But some of these MTTs are so short that the westcoast feed and the first replay on H100 were starting at about the same time anyway. |

101:
6 AM ET - 10: Bubba live.
10 AM - 2 PM: Bubba replay
2 PM - 3 PM: Maybe a 60 minute highlight show of that day's BTLS.
3 PM - 7 PM: Bubba afternoon replay
7 PM - 8 PM: Red Peters
8 PM - 12 AM: Ferrall
100
6 AM to 10 AM: MTT.
10 AM to 12 PM: Friday Show. Also talk about that day's MTT.
12 PM to ???: News at noon
After that, replay MTT and Friday show.
If they wanted to, they could either scrap the noon news, or break for the news, and go back to the Friday Show after the news.
This is really no different than what it is now. If you want to hear Mastertape Theatre at 6 AM and BTLS at 3 PM, you still would be able to.
Some people want MTT, some people want Friday Show. You CAN please them all if you know how. |

Bubba The Love Sponge to air Friday mornings
The Bubba The Love Sponge show will start broadcasting live Friday mornings on Sirius' Howard 101, starting on February 23rd.
Bubba will continue to host his regular daily show, Monday - Thursday from 3pm-7pm ET on Howard 101, but his new timeslot on Fridays mornings is now 6am-10am ET.
Replays on of the Friday morning show will air in the afternoon, from 3pm-7pm ET |
