| the companies are estimated to save 7 billions dollars, if the merger wins approval. moreover, we could also see a reduction in subscription fees |

no one "gives" talent more money just because they have it. trust me, I've been a freelance artist my entire adult life and businessmen are loath to give anyone money. You have to fight for it. that's life. it's always been like that and it will never change.
why do you think artists eventually stop??? it gets exhusting to constantly have to beat people over the head to get paid a decent amount of money |

Lower subscription rates? Would be nice.
Likelihood of lower subscription rates? You have a better chance finding Jimmy Hoffa's body.
There's a reason why the government broke up Bell Phone around 1980. If you think your phone bill is high now, just imagine what it would be if that monopoly were to exist in this day and age. I think it's shitty that the FCC actually has a say-so in this. |

| currently, xm / Sirius are spending billions of dollars to capture market share, in the event of a merger, there will no longer be a need for this expenditure, hence the saving of a reported 7 billion dollars in operating cost |
