after O'Reilly states that Shawn Hornbeck basically enjoyed being raped for four years she has him on a week later as a crusader for child abuse? Anyone have any ideas how to let Oprah know how big she fucked up? This is disgusting :mad:

Now that Bill O'Reilly is scheduled to appear on Oprah,2/21/07, to discuss child predators, he tried to bolster his recently ruined reputation as media advocate for sexually abused children during tonight's TPM. It seems he figured that people would forget about his previous statements that Shawn Hornbeck liked his life with his kidnapper, if he came out tonight calling for Devlin's death and twisting his previous opinions to make himself look good.
After he announced he would be on Oprah with a panel discussing child predators and the law, he once again attacked Vermont, the Left, and the ACLU for siding with the predators.Then he brought up Shawn Hornbeck claiming that the theory that Hornbeck was a victim of Stockholm Syndrome was "bull because it was actually Child Sexual Abuse Accomodation Syndrome where the child is tortured into accepting his situation.

On the January 18 edition of his nationally syndicated radio show, while discussing Missouri kidnapping victim Shawn Hornbeck, Fox News host Bill O'Reilly called Media Matters for America "a far-left swamp pit. A disgusting website that just attacks people with whom they disagree and takes things out of context all day long." O'Reilly elaborated that "they'll take an hour discussion we do here on The Radio Factor, and then they'll transcribe two minutes of it and leave out all the other stuff. ... [I]t's a cheap game. They've been doing this for years. And everybody with any intelligence knows it." As with his previous attacks on Media Matters, O'Reilly did not offer a single example of Media Matters' taking his remarks out of context. Media Matters provides transcripts, with full context, and, when available, audio or video clips of O'Reilly's remarks in items about him.

There's no doubt in my mind that sooner than later, both Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity will be caught diddling an alter-boy in the broom-closet.
To me, both of these guys have all of the distinguishing characteristics of a child-molester.

Yes. O'Reilly is a cretin at best, but I support his drive to have Jessica's Law passed in every state. Are you against it just because O'Reilly is for it? Or do you have a rational reason we should not go after child predators? |
