WALTER REED ARMY HOSPITAL
A Washington Post/NBC story reported that Walter Reed Army Hospital has been sending troops to Building 18 a run down hotel infested with roaches, rats, and other pests. Not to mention the mold and lack of linens. This is completely unacceptable.
How does an administation that touts supporting the troops in every sentence allow this to happen? Also there has been no outrage on the presidents part or any type of presidential directives. He hasn’t even called anyone to the office for a stern talking to. This just shows and proves that all of the Republican rhetoric is just bullshit to continue this war that is draining our nations resources, money, and lives of our servicemen.

Ever since 9/11 the media has thrown its collective brain out the window. They got SOME of their balls back in the past couple of years after the Bush admin started jailing reporters, but I'm going crazy over the fact this crap is treated as such important news.
There was a very interesting piece on 20/20 a few weeks ago about how people are growing so attracted to celebrities due to a number of negative changes going on in our society. People are more lonely and isolated so the celebrity image gives them a fantasy they can somehow relate to.
But as far as I'm concerned, no news media outlet should even be wasting a minute on this bullshit. For christ's sake, you can watch streaming of the ANS hearings on MSNBC. We really are a country filled with morons. |

bubba needs to have the army hulk up and kick in some donations like bed linens, shampoo...weighlifters gloves...stuff like that so our injured boys dont need to suffer needlessly at the hands of an uncaring government. i sent brent an email stating this...lets see if he takes it and runs with it. |

| Yeah, I could get behind sumpin' like 'dat. That's a real positive step. It is a shame that we gotta' pay taxes to send these poor kids over there, then pay from our pockets to take care of the wounded when they come home. But, talk about a worthy sacrifice. |

| It really stinks that the troops are being done that way after putting their life on the line. There should be more done to help. Have you guys heard of this religious groups going around the country and protesting at the soldiers funerals calling them "faggots" and saying "god punished the faggots who went to war"? |
