Figured we could have a thread where we could toss around ideas that don't necessarily warrant their own thread...i'll start:
1) why does FoxNews insist on putting a (D) next to Joe Lieberman's name whenever they show him on the channel? I could be wrong but didn't he win as an Independent, aka (I)? I think FoxNews does this on purpose so they can still say there is dissension in the Dem ranks, despite the fact that Lieberman is not a dem...I know this is a small thing but it goes to show how biased and bullshit foxnews really is...
2) Sy Hersh over the weekend presented a pretty convincing argument that the Bush admin has been funding violent Sunni groups in order to stem the growth of Shiite influence in the middle east...according to Hersh, these funds have never been approved by Congress (not to mention the fucking craziness of it)...Hersh says these funds have ended up in the hands of “three Sunni jihadist groups” who are “connected to al Qaeda” but “want to take on Hezbollah.” Hersh summed up his scoop in stark terms: “We are simply in a situation where this president is really taking his notion of executive privilege to the absolute limit here, running covert operations, using money that was not authorized by Congress, supporting groups indirectly that are involved with the same people that did 9/11.” SO ARE WE FIGHTING TERROR OR NOT? I DON'T GET IT...SERIOUSLY WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?
3) Keith Olbermann had a great bit about that weak ass FoxNews Half Hour Comedy...what if we applied laugh tracks to all FoxNews shows (since they are all a joke)... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7Dx7wNs9io
4) Anyone get a chance to see the FoxNews Blog show? If you did, I'm sure you feel the same as I do... 5) Talabani suffers stroke, VP of Iraq barely escapes assassination attempt...we can now confidently say that the insurgents are without a doubt in their last throes...
6) Hollyweird's Academy awards seen by red state conservatives as yet another attempt to push the LIBERAL GAY AGENDA...liberals and moderates still trying to figure out what this agenda is? Turn everyone gay? That just doesn't seem practical...
7) Carter blasts Cheney..."If you go back and see what Vice President Cheney has said for the last three or four years concerning Iraq, his batting average is abysmally low. He hasn't been right on hardly anything." - If only Carter had been a better president it might matter what he has to say...if only Reagan would rise from the grave to call W the worst president ever...

9) Right Wing Blogosphere frothing at the mouth over troops on 60 minutes that were against the war...Little Green Footballs calls them fraudulent anti-war group...slandering war veterans? 11) Chimps seen using spears to hunt for food...Their method: break off a branch, "strip it of leaves and twigs, trim it down," "chew the ends to a point," and "use it to stab into holes where bush babies might be sleeping." 12) John Gibson called out for going bananas over the Anna Nicole Smith story while ignoring Iraq..."On his radio show on Friday, Gibson attempted to defend his Anna Nicole coverage.
