Bubba has always been a nickname for him, ever since he was a kid. He was a bigger kid so they called him Bubba. He used to be "Rockin' Bubba Clem" on the college radio station he worked at. His roommate was also on the radio (I think it's "Scary" Carey Gray but I dont wanna get the wrong guy mixed into the story.)
