Please, everyone that wants Bubba's show played back-to-back on Fridays, email Tim Sabean. He's really good about reading and occasionally responding to emails. Just be polite and let him know your feelings. Even those of us on central time would like the show to be replayed back-to-back, it's not just the west coast people. So drop him and email and let him know- and if you want to mention Bubba's offer to do 2 shows on Friday, that's even better!!! (this was given the go-ahead by Brent so all is good).

Sent a nice, polite email to Tim last week. Got a cookie cutter pre-fabbed email auto response reply. I'm no radio guy, but I guess it must be like landing a man on Mars to try figure out how to set up a west coast replay at 6:00 a.m. pacific time. Just seems kind of weird to hear Bubba's morning show at NOON on Fridays. Maybe when the merger happens, the XM engineers can stop by and show Tim how to do it?
Now this isn't directed at Bubba and his crew. They'd love to have a west coast replay, but it's out of their hands. I don't know what business model Sabean is using, but it just doesn't seem to be a good business strategy to hype something new, and then only offer it to half of your customers? And then when the customers who aren't getting your new service complain, who want more of your services, you ignore them? Sure! Sounds like a solid plan to me.
Bubba's morning show is a bust out here on the west coast because we don't get to hear it until NOON! It's just the same as it was when Howard stopped working Fridays. It's Hair Nation, Octane, and Hard Attack channels until Bubba's show comes on at noon. I know Manson and Ned don't like working early bird hours, so Bubba and the crew might as well go back to working an afternoon shift on Fridays again. It would be all the same to us on the west coast. |

| Sent a nice e-mail. A 5 oclock wake up is pretty early around here since I am on the western end of the central time zone, so I usually only listen to Howard on the west coast feed unless I know something I really want to hear is on during the 7 o'clock hour. |

Do you honestly think that they timed a satelite to be over the west coast right at 6 am so they can replay howard and bubba? When a Replay happens while a show is still going on live it has to be on a different channel...The only option for a "west coast" feed would be to back to back replay it. |

Actually, I was just being sarcastic. I'm sure it's just an easy flip of the switch to make a west coat replay happen, but TS chooses to not to do it so he can piss off his customers. Is there a law that Bubba's show can't be on H100 and H101? He is replacing Howard's show on Friday's, riiiiight? So why not 6:00-10:00 a.m, EST on H100, then run the replay on H101 from 6:00-10:00 a.m. PST, just like Howard's show runs, Monday through Thursday? It's just one day a week? This should be a no brainer slam dunk, but TS has chosen to make it into a problem. Isn't there enough MTT on H100? Out of 168 hours in a week, H100 can't let Bubba use 4 hours on a Friday morning???

Since Bubba asked us to be nice. I will avoid expressing how truly hostile and angry I am, in thinking of you, and that I am envisioning server physical acts of extreme violence. Enough of the trivial drivel, lets get down to business.
1. We bought Sirius because of Howard, we listen because of Bubba
2. Master Tape Theater is a waste of time. I find myself listening to CNN on line over the crap replays.
3. Do we need two channels of MTT- the same show? No
4. Stern Fan Round Table is among the worst programming on Sirius
5. Red Peter Comedy Hour is among the worst programming on Sirius
6. The Intern Show is the among the worst programming on Sirius
7. Jackie's Joke Hunt is among the worst programming on Sirius
8. Bubba is the hottest show on 100 or 101. Nothing Howard's crew does or produces comes within a nano second, a mile, a cunt hair or anywhere else near the quality, the intensity, the in your face over the top- exploited entertainment.
9. The Pacific Time Zone is not full of ugly, retarded, red haired step children and the world does not revolve around your tri-state suck fest. Fuck you and fucking us out of our 6am show with Bubba. It is bad enough that Sirius ignores the west coast listener-ship, but this is a down right malicious move on your part to discriminate against the west coast. What about our morning drive- the largest in the country by the way- why can't we enjoy our morning drive to Bubba on Friday mornings? And what about our afternoon drive- the largest in the country by the way- why do you force us to change the channel when the above listed crap shows are played?
10. Move all of the crap shows off of 101 and put them all on 100- make 101 all Bubba, all day, save the Farrell- he rocks. Keep the Stern shit on one channel.
11. Open your eyes and ears and listen and look at what your doing. So far, much of the Stern crap wont make the cut for the merger.
If this continues- the heat will increase. This is bull shit. I want an explanation from you- I want an apology from you- I want you to get liquid assed.

Even some of us in Central time prefer the west coast feed. If they just looped it, it would restart at 7AM west coast and 9AM central time which would make pretty much everyone happy. I usually listen to Howard when the show starts at 8AM my time- 5 AM is too early for me. |

It's called a fucking commute ass hole. Some of us live waaaaaaaay out in the suburbs, in huge 3k sqft homes and drive an hour and a half each fucking way. The problem is, Master Tape Theater is one of the worst shows on Sirius- if I want shit, I have it on 100.
The succinct answer is why do the east coasters want it at 6am? An alternative to the shit MTT.

Because then it's not a morning show, it's a regular afternoon show, which means there's no need for Bubba and the crew to get up early to do the show. Nothing has changed on the west coast. It's MTT in the morning, then Bubba's show comes on at noon. The only difference is it's a replay of Bubba's MORNING show that comes on at NOON on the west coast. I know Manson and Ned don't like the early bird hours. Might as well let them all sleep in and just have a regular Friday show schedule.
