| If corporate is smart they should give him more airtime and more replays.I love stern but when the torch is ready to pass it is a no brainer where it should go.The mp3 idea is great i wouldent have a problem paying.Where else can you this kinda rounded programing the only thing i would change would be more lasker. |

Ok then. I've got a word or two to say about this. I damned well HOPE Bubba's around this time next year. But honestly, I really don't think theres anything to worry about. First of all, Bubba's got one very big ace card up his sleeve. With Howard in his corner (and lets face it...Howard is THE whole damned royal flush in this particular analogy) Bubba isn't going anywhere.
Case in point. Howard and Beth and...hell...the whole damned crew showed up in Tampa for Bubba and Heather's wedding.
Now, if Howard didn't consider Bubba a friend, that never would have happened. Howard was talking about this just the other day...people invite him to weddings all the time. If Howard did NOT consider Bubba a pretty damned good friend...THIS is what would have happened.
Either Lisa G. or Shuli woulda showed up for the wedding. And it may have gotten a bit of a spot on the Howard 100 news.
C'mon...Howard knows talent. If I could give a ratio as to what has made Howard so damned successful over the years, it's this. 45% talent, 5% luck, and 50% Loyalty and talent RECOGNITION. Most of the people that are on HIS show right now, have been with him for absolutely years. And Bubba...well, Howard recognizes the talent. And not only that...but Howard is dead set loyal to those he considers his friends. So no worries...I think Bubba will be with us for a good while.
But, just so we get a good idea of what would happen if not...Quick poll...how many of you would honestly feel the price of Satellite radio would be worth it if Howard and Bubba weren't around?
Just my opinion, but these guys make the price paid seem well worth it. |

I have become a real Bubba fan over the last few months and would hate for them not to be on Sirius.
With that said, money talks and bullshit walks. Bubba has been very open that they are being courted by regular radio and all the guys have talked about how much it sucked to be out of work and that they will not let that happen again.
I hope that everything works out at Sirius but you can't blame Bubba and the boys for having a plan b. |

They already get there bits ripped off and played on various testicle radio stations around the country. All it takes is one asshole to repost his/her copy somewhere else, and then it becomes a free-for-all. Then the ones who truly get ripped off are the loyal paying customers and the BRN. |

Well, I wouldn't say Howards show has been horrible. Kerep in mind that the reason Bubba's show and Howard's show works so well together is that their complete opposites.
I know a LOT of people who say their not a big Stern Fan. Heres the thing tho. Most fan's would tell you...and this goes for Bubba's show, too...that the haters just don't get it. Somebody tunes in for a little bit...their thinking, "Where the hell's the joke?"
The joke is, there IS no joke. The reason these guys excel isn't because their stand up comedians. The reason people love them is, if you hang out long enough, they sorta start feeling like family. They talk about their personal lives, whats going on with who...and people who've been hanging out for long enough get that vibe, man.
The first time I ever heard Bubba, it was when they were doing his best of Gimmick while they were completeing the studio, and him and Brent weere in New York. And I hear this old call where a guy with...hell, I dunno...MS or sumthin called in, and Bubba gave him hell. And I thought...what an absolute PRICK!
Howard does his thing, and has his whackpackers. People may think it's cruel to make fun of Gary and Wendy the retards. But if you hang out, and listen long enough, ya see that Howards actually showing these people a LOT of love, and is including them in his show.
Howards done a lot for this business. And he's still running at the top of his form. Not gonna throw down on ya because ya mark out to Bubba more than Howard. Hell, I do too. But remember...show some respect...theres a reason Bubba marks out to Howard...and it's not just because Howard got him this job.
One more thing...back on topic...I been all over the place on this post, eh? I really see as theres really no doubt about BRN getting reupped. Sure, they didn't have a five year like Howard, but hell...Howard vouched for the guys, and the shorter contract...as *I* see it...is more or less just a probationary thing Sirius did...just in case. After all...Bubba did ice a pig on the radio. *L* |

I would gladly pay extra to hear bubba, whether he was on free fm or sirius. Hated, HATED his show at first, now i am a Bubba Raw member and full Bubba mark.
I dearly hope sirius gives him what he wants/needs as I love this show more and more everyday. Even to the point of getting heat from my wife from how i enjoy it so much. |

I would definatly pay for Bubba if he went to a non Sirius format. Sometimes I think I would like it if he offered his show pod cast and I could just join Bubba Raw(Haven't Joined yet because I really dont have time to enjoy it, spend most of my time in a vehicle) and download it. Sirius all to all isn't that big of a deal for me, the entertainment I receive from Howard and Bubba has been the only reason I keep my sub alive(music I can download and add to an iPOD.) Without those two shows I would probably cancel atleast one of my subs.
As far as the 2 shows are concerned they are different and it has been said here 1000 times if Howard can enjoy Bubba why cant his fans. Atleast his fans could respect Howards decission to give Bubba and Ferrell a show, and not stir up shit cause they are not Howard. All of the Stern Channel talent seems to go through phases, Bubba has a great week, Howards shows are a little off, the other way around. Lately I have been looking more forward to Bubba than Howard. Maybe next month that will change. LOVE THE NEW FRIDAY SHOWS!!!!! Keep them comming let Bubba run over 4 hours if he feels like it, Boss people!! |

| I think Bubba will be back. He is very loved by the Stern crew and that is a HUGE boost to Bubba. Also, part of Bubba's new contract should be a deal where he gets his own channel and recognize the true greatness of the Bubba Radio Network. Seperate himself from Howard, seperate himself from Ferrel, and just do what he see fits with 24 hr programming days. Classic Bubba shows, replays, Ned Hours, Conspiracy Corners, live Bubbagon coverage, Lasker racing show, Spice's Pussy Corner, whatever. Mel, Tim, make it happen. Bubba deserves the shot and it would benefit all involved. |

If BTLS and the BRN would go back to testical radio, there's no way they could shock the balls, shock the puss, or do liquid ass. The FCC would have a fuckin' field day.
It'll be a cold fuckin' day in hell before he goes back to XM.
BTLS needs Sirius. The question is, how bad does Sirius need/want the BRN? They need to realize that people will cancel if he doesn't come back. We can get our music from iPods, and our local sports teams from AM/FM radio.
HOWEVER... IF the BRN bids farewell to Sirius, would Howard move to afternoons? They're all complaining about the morning hours, but the fans love Howard at the 6 till whenever timeslot. Maybe put them live on Friday afternoons with Friday Show or MTT in the mornings? |

| Bubba said something on his show about leaving when Howard leaves, I think that is so low on Bubba's part, I know Iv started loving his show, didn't like it at first but that's because I couldn't get enough of Howard's show but now i like his show a lot and if he leaves, I know I for one will not have sirius any longer so and I'm sure the higher ups know that millions will probably drop them so I think they'll give bubba a ton of money and I think they should do the same for Farwell and Jackie too, they have awesome shows although it does suck that they don't give Jackie more time on air. Bottom line is Bubba has other offers so he'll be fine if he leaves sirius and unless you have sirius for other shows you like to hear then I'd say sirius will be in some serious trouble when and if Howard and Bubba do leave. I know Bubba knows he's second in line to have the best show on Sirius so I'm sure things will work out and I can keep sirius after Howard leaves. Do you all agree or not? |

Bubba's show has definitely been a surprise for me. I got sirius to ditch the fm garbage and of course Stern. I have been a Stern listener for about 15 years.
My brother had asked if I had listened to Bubba's show...a few days later I did. For the last 5 months I have been a huge fan of Bubba's show-so much in fact that I actually look forward to his show more than Stern's. I think the stern show is "cooling off" for me-still great at times-but I think being angry and frustrated, married/divorced was a huge part of his show that is essentially lost now. Irony is, now that Howard has all of the freedom(s), whether it be censorship, financial, women, it's hurt his show in a way. I still enjoy Stern-but I may be evolving into just as much a Bubba fan. Hope Sirius keeps Bubba long-term. |

| I highly doubt that Bubba will be back.....Sirius is ran much like a pro sports franchise.....A star player is never made to play to the last day of a contract before being given a new one......By not stepping up and signing Bubba to a new contract now Sirius is telling him to go test the waters and see what he can get from other stations........For every one person that leaves if Bubba leaves there will be another that is just as loyale to his replacement.....In the end people are here for Howard not Bubba..........I for one would much rather "SHake it Up" than listen to Bubba spend twenty minutes at the beginning of each show begging me to buy one of his TSHIRTS......Then another twenty minutes with Bubba begging me to sign up to Bubba Raw.......I like to hear Brent, Spice, Ned etc....Give them the show let Bubba go and it doesnt skip a beat. All bubba does is repeat what BRent says anyway. |

As much as Howard hates to admit it he probably has the most pull re: if Sirius will pony up for Bubba. If he hears it enough I think he'll arange for them to pay him. Otherwise they should just dump channel 101, it's not worth a whole channel for Farrell, replays, and some weekly 1 hour shows. |

| I've had Sirius since before Howard made his announcement and I was happy he came over and at first I tried to listen to Bubba just a little here and there and I couldn't stand it. After spending more time being a regular listener of his show I can't imagine having Sirius without him. It seems like more and more the Stern show is hit and miss but I can always count on Bubba to get me laughing my ass off. |
