If the cowgurls wanted a mentoring QB why not get a Jeff George or Vinne type of guy to come in for Romo.. Brad Johnson is only going to try and compete for the starting job.. Bad signing

Romo has done all the learning he can, Brad Johnson is the best in the NFL at putting down holds on field goals.

I thought Johnson would go somewhere he thought he could start as well. He still has some tread left, but I don't know about the message it sends Romo. If Romo were to go down, Johnson is more than capable than some starters in the league.

I was hoping the Giants would go after him for experienced insurance, as much as I love seeing J-Load in a game.
