I might get the Stiletto 10 because of the half-off deal :cool: I just have one question. Could I listen to live radio while on a bus? I ride the bus to school. How about inside classrooms?
I went to Dogstar to see about repeaters, and here's what I got. The red circle is the area where I would use the Stiletto most, if I get one.

The Stiletto will work GREAT within the BLUE circle. Outside of it, chances are you will have reception problems. Something to consider is that the yellow balloon is an unconfirmed repeater. You can make sure you have a repeater nearby by looking at the signal strength of your current receiver. If it displays more than half strength on the "terrestrial" signal then you have one nearby.
As a suggestion, the extra money you spend for the S100 will be well worth it if you go for it. The neat thing of the Stiletto is being indoors and still able to listen to Howard with an available Wifi signal. The larger recording capacity is also great especially in those situation when you can't get either a live signal or wifi.

I'm still wondering if I should do that Stilletto deal.
Would I be able to record at home (outside the blue circle), and listen to the recorded stuff outside the blue circle? |

Listening to the recorded stuff can be done anywhere, is just like an ipod in that case( I use it on the subway).
As far as recording outside the blue circle make sure you have a good signal for which I recommend recording with the home kit. Again, check out your signal strenghts on your current receiver to make sure you have repeaters in your area. |
