.....one or 2 or however many SFNers lucky enough to be at a meet and greet could buy a bunch of extra copies at an appearance. then, as a hookup to other fellow darksiders, would have a Paypal account set up so that we could buy it from our fellow SFNer. Buyer would assume shipping charges, etc. So that way sure, we'd hafta pay a bit more fro shipping, but probably no more than Bubba would charge.
It'd be a nice thing for an SFNer (especially in the Tampa area) to do that so that they could help the rest of us out. And the "seller" could pocket a little cash in the process, I wouldn't mind paying them for their time to do all that. Whaddya think? |

I was thinking this but didn't want to post it.
I get that it's a collector's item. Kind of a special thing for people that can make it to meet and greets. Hopefully this only lasts for a while and later on they start selling it to everyone because there are many people (like me) who are willing to pay for this but will never be able to. I generally buy every Bubba item but I can't buy this one, so Limewire will have to do. If they make it available for purchase on-line, they'll have my money. |

That's where Bubba has to possibly rethink this. I don't download things but just about evreyone I know, and the the younger they are the more they do it, donwloads everything free. DVD's, music, etc.
I think the policy just hurts the revenue generated by the item because it is too easy to donwload for free. Might as well sell it on the web since it gets out one way or the other.
That seems to be a sad reality. All it takes is for one person to buy NFC, download it at one of those sites and it flies around the internet for eons. |

I sent an email to the show to complain about his decision. Bubba does this type of thing alot. He makes a decision without thinking it all the way through.
I am a loyal listener, have 3 Sirius Radios, have turned many listeners on to Sirius and his Show. I purchase Merchandise, I am a Bubba Raw Subscriber, etc.
But Since I don't live near the major cities he does the meet and greets in, I loose.
He is trying to show Sirius he has an audience by encouraging people to show up at these meet and greets, I think they know he has an audience, he needs to treat his loyal fans with the respect they deserve, make the CD available to us.

Exactly, bubba needs to stop sucking off the tools from NY, florida and vegas. Start thinking about all the other fucking fans out there.
Plus he is a bit of a hypocrite. He was pissed about the last 18 minutes of the replay being cut off, and how everyone wasnt able to hear it. Well fuck it bubba, if people really loved you they should get up at 6 am and listen to the live show, that is a reward to the "real" fans, just like the CD is for the "real" fans that can get to these lemon parties you throw. :mad: |

I understand you want the friggin CD but go wash your pussy. Making something exlcusive is marketing, pure and simple, it has nothing to do with which fans Bubba likes better...it is marketing and at the end of the day, Bubba has to market himself constantly....he was out of a career for over one year, that tends to make you aware of the biz side of things.
Howard will not sell his shit to Terrestrial radio because he won't sell out his fans like O & A did. "Scarcity" or "exclusivity" is an extemely important marketing concept. The Howard keychain is an example of that. You can't buy it, only thru getting a sub.
I just think Bubba gets hosed in the end as people may be downloading the stuff illegally. |

It is tha same as the Howard Fist Key Chain from Sirius. I have been a subscriber of Sirius for years. I have multiple subscriptions. Yet I can't get a keychain. But some new subscriber who gets a subscription for 60 days and drops it can.
The F@#king Cable company does the same thing. New customers get great pricing incentives, long time subscribers get the shaft. I don't have to like it. Whaaaaaaa....
Bubba does know marketing, he's a worker. The point is he needs to satisfy both needs. He needs to offer the people who come out to support him something without penalizing the other people who support him as well. He should make items available to either Bubba Raw Members or Bubba Army Members, etc. It's all about the dollars in the end.
He is never going to make everyone happy, I understand that. I just think this is different than the Bubba Army Dog Tags which they toss to the crowd in Vegas, etc. This is a CD which he makes good money on, why not sell as many as you can? Like you said, people will just end up sharing it, stealing it, etc. Why not make the $20?
It may be marketing but I think the true supporters, the ones who spend the real money, miss out on some of the perks. I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm whining, It's just the way I feel about it.

Ya know, if ya really wants it so bad, and are happy to pay for it, but cant cuz no meet and greets are coming to a site near you....Download it off Limewire or whatever, then cut a check and mail it to Bubba at BRN...he prolly be happy to cash it for ya.

The NFC album is only avail at meet and greets.. this past Lakeland one was the only one they will be doing in the Tampa area.. if it were easier to get a hold of the disc, I wouldn't have any issues buying / selling them (at same cost $20+ shipping) online..
They are making it so hard to get a hold of a copy the right way... it leaves many with few options.. |

| I am and will continue to be deeply disappointed in Bubba's decision in regards to NFC.I am an FTE and I can't declare where I want to be be to my company.Furthermore I don't travel when I take time off unless I fly b/c I don't want to drive anywhere.I live in Memphis,TN nowhere near any of the planned meet and greets.I listen to Bubba everyday and Stern Everyday all day cause I drive everyday for at least 10 hours.I am a loyal listener and I think Bubba is selling himself short on potential revenue from sales of NFC.If he were really interested in showing his fan base he would sell NFC over the net to everyone.I bet it could be at the least a GOLD record which would be 500,000 copies.I don't think I am over estimating my figures either Ned's bits are truly funny shit and I want an NFC.I have talked with AT LEAST 100 other FTE's who feel the same way.Bubba you are ripping yourself off and leaving a great amount of money on the table. |
