You have to be a little more specific. The one that comes with boombox and the home kit are called home antennas.
The other one I'm thinking about is the outdoor home antenna:

The home antenna and the outdoor antennas are both weather proof but since the outdoor antenna is designed to go on your roof I haven't heard any complaints whatsoever with it.
I have a regular home antenna and I once had it on top of an air conditioner when two feet of snow were dumped on it, it was completely buried in ice for a couple of days and my reception did not skip a bit. |

| but does the outdoor antenna improve reception? i've had so many "no signal" problems in the the last two months that I feel like Wendy the Retard with no power. Satellite always full but the FM has been one bar or less. |
