Ok stick with me for a min. Unless an 11th hour deal has been struck Riley Martin is gone for at least a while. I wasn’t aware of this until today but it would seem we can count on a Chuck Z and The Shit Show as a replacement. Great for anyone that likes them but this does nothing for me.
I purpose a Dave Rice show. Maybe once a month or maybe even a one time show but I would love to hear Dave talk about the behind the scenes engineering of Bubba’s studio. Tell us how they connect to Sirius from Tampa and hardly ever lose signal due to faults of Tampa. Tell us how he puts together remote broadcasts. What are their disaster recovery plans? Most of all, tell us how he keeps his cool and has become Mr unflappable.
Let’s be honest, could it be any worse than The Shit Show? I don’t know how many others feel this way but I would love to hear Dave give us a behind the scenes look at how he makes Bubba’s show happen and what makes Dave Rice, Dave Rice. |

i never even thought about a dave rice show
that guys the man and he KILLS me with his blog hes just a funny bastard in a subtle way
id love to hear a show from him and how it is to deal with bubba on a day to day basis |

| I would go for a Dave Rice show WAAAY more than I would the wives show. Can anyone think of a technical engineer that's better than that guy? I sure can't. He is probably THE most invaluable guy that Bubba has on staff. |

I actually am for the wives show. I love Heather but Donna can bring some heat which already has me interested. I tend to think Manson is probably one of the most irreplaceable people on the on air staff but I must stay Spice has stepped up his game big time lately in my opinion.
This all being said, no on air talent is ever broadcast without someone like Dave Rice making it happen. It just doesn’t work without his design and creations. How does that happen? I want to know. |

I would probably listen to the wives show because it's a BRN production. I do agree with you though that I'd love to hear about what goes into putting BTLS on the air every day at 3pm for our listening pleasure. Even if it's a one-time shot, it'd certainly be interesting to hear, IMO. And heck yeah, they've all stepped their game up lately. |

| Dave kicks ass and I would definitely listen to a show if he did one. Does anyone think that if Bubba got enough requests for a specialty show, but Sirius didn't want to air it, maybe they would do it through the website? Like an Internet radio type deal. I know its not big time but then they bypass the months of waiting for The Bulldog to approve it and find them a time slot. Maybe I'm just greedy. |

To be honest I started this in hopes Bulldog would realize his 7PM programming was so weak and he might consider giving Dave a chance. I honestly believe it would be a good program. I suppose Bubba could do it alone and put it on btls.com or on bubbaraw.com but that’s not the point for me. I mean really, how many times do I give a shit about hearing how Chuck beat someone up or how Andy Dick sucks cock? It is what it is. |

Couldn't have said that any better myself! Perhaps they'll work on the midnight programming as well ... I don't mind the replays of Jackie and SFRT, but Riley just didn't do it for me at that late hour. Now they're resorting to a "Shit Show" to fill programming? Uh, for anyone in corporate who'll probably never read this, leave the shit programming to Bubba (as in "When Shit ... Hits ... The Fan!") ... :D |

I don’t know if he would want to be on the other side of the mic or not. Perhaps he couldn’t be interested in it but I felt hearing things from Dave’s side might be interesting. I mean without Dave, we don’t hear Bubba and the crew. Dave, how do you do that magic that you do? |
