From a Pat Militech interview:

Q: Brock Lesnar is preparing for his MMA debut on June 2 in Los Angeles for K-1 Heroes. Lesnar has visited your camp in Bettendorf in the past, what's your assessment of him?

PM: He's an incredible wrestler, very gifted athlete, very big guy. Powerful, fast, agile. He's going to be tough to deal with. No matter who fights him, they're going to have their hands full, to say the least. And again, he trained with us some, he trained with a few other people, and I believe he's with Greg Nelson now, up in Minnesota, because that's where he's from. And Greg Nelson is a very good trainer, a nice guy and good a friend of mine. I'm sure Greg is training him very well.

Q: Did you get a look at Lesnar's standup game at all?

PM: Yeah, absolutely. He sparred with some of my heavyweights. His standup game wasn't polished at the time, but I'm sure Greg has done a lot of work with that and has got him looking pretty sharp with his standup. But you have to remember (that) a guy that (was a) Division I national champion wrestler, well, a lot of times doesn't have to be a great standup fighter to win fights. He can decide where the fight goes, down or up.

***K-1, ProElite and Showtime have a press conference on Tuesday morning to announce their combined show at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum featuring Brock Lesnar's MMA debut against Choi Hong-man. At the press conference at 10:30 a.m. will be Choi, Lesnar, Royce Gracie, Johnnie Morton (former USC football star), Sadaharu Tanikawa (CEO of K-1), Doug DeLuca (CEO of ProElite) and Ken Hershman (Senior VP of Showtime)

***Fighting Entertainment Group (K-1's parent company), Pro Elite, and Showtime yesterday made official the news that broke earlier this week on MMAWeekly.com. The trio scheduled a press conference for Tuesday, March 27 to announce “Softbank presents DYNAMITE!! USA in association with ProElite,” a major pay-per-view event at the massive Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The press conference will introduce four of the key fighters for the event: MMA legend Royce Gracie, former WWE wrestler and NCAA national champion amateur wrestler Brock Lesnar, 7-foot-2-inch K-1 fighter Hong-Man Choi, and former NFL player Johnnie Morton.

It is believed, as reported here, that the pay-per-view event will take place under the K-1 Hero’s banner on June 2, 2007. It is also believed that the main event of the show will feature Brock Lesnar making his MMA debut against Hong-Man Choi.

nope..google for it, u'll find it. it was a fark.com story at one point...Lesnar will even freak out on hot chix who have gay friends.

Brock Lesnar
Professional wrestler
2004 Slur: "I don't like gays. Write that down in your little notebook. I don't like gays." (He also, apparently, said some things about gays that would make us vote for John Rocker as HRC president, though ESPN the Magazine wouldn't elaborate.)

Analysis: People who wear tight bikinis, oil themselves up and wrestle other men shouldn't throw stones. Lesnar couldn't hack it in a real sport, and was cut from the Minnesota Vikings during training camp.
Clayman
He is not going to have an easy time in his debut. His opponent is a 7'2" monster who in his only other K-1 fight KOed the other dude in 16 seconds. You would have thought K-1 would have thrown him a bone to start so they don't lose value on there poster boy.
Major Player
Lesnar never played college football since I guess he wrestled in high school in South Dakota at 189 pounds. I kind of wondered why Nebraska never recruited him for football being in the neighboring state, I guess that is why. Kind of makes you wonder how he got so huge during college.
