Can anyone confirm whether or not Sirius satellite service works overseas (not Canada, since I know it works there).
I was taking about in Asia specifically (Hong Kong or Singapore)? I may have a work assignment over there - and I was wondering if signals were working out there.
Can anyone confirm or deny?

No. The satellite signal covers most of the Caribbean, Central and North America. You will have to rely on your internet subscription.

Yes. You can get the signal anywhere in the island. I've read posts on Sirius Backstage of people who live in PR and are Sirius subscribers, who confirmed their signal reception.
Also, my cousin Pedro took his Starmate replay to Dominican Rep. and picked up good signal reception.
Just make sure that you take your home or car antenna with your receiver and that it has a clear view of the sky. It would be interesting to see how well the Stiletto's antenna headphones perform downthere.

| Yeah, I'm in Japan so I'm able to get the show over the internet....but you cant listen to sports over the internet and I would assume WI-FI too..another thing is if you don't already have a ready, don't wait until you get overseas as you won't be able to initialize it. Get it in the US, set up the subscription, then you should be good. I called Sirius many times trying to figure out how I could get it here in Japan but no luck. Laters |
