| I give up. This is complete bullshit. First, this morning bubba says that he has to hurry up with the shit hits the fan deal because the last half hour won't be played on replay. So I guess it wasn't a fuck up last week, they just want to chop the fuck out of his show so we can hear that original howard news programing. Guess Bubba must have been told this is the way it is judging by his reaction this morning. So, I tune in so I can at least catch the first 3 hours that I missed from the live show and they are playing last weeks fucking show........Why doesn't Sirius just fucking cut Bubba loose. It is obvious they are doing this to fuck with him and his contract negotiations. I mean, if they gave a fuck about his show they would make sure it was run right. There has been at least one technical fuck up EVERY WEEK since he started the Friday gig. I guess I will just suck it up and come to the realization that, like with Howard, I will get no fucking live Friday show because I am on the west coast. ,I sure hope that Tim Sabean is doing a great job of sucking Bubbas dick on a weekly basis telling Bubba it is an isolated incident and it will be fixed next week. I can't imagine that, given how much Bubba cares about his fans, that he would allow this to continue. I caught the last hour of the show this morning and Bubba was hurrying up to get the Shit Fan bit done because he said the last half hour wasn't going to be on the replay so I would assume, yes, it will cut off. |

I was able to catch the NOON replay of Bubba's MORNING show today on the west coast. Ronnie and Tim stopped in to say hello. Tim sounded very content and relaxed. Later, right around 3:00 p.m. PDT, Bubba mentioned that there would be a BONUS 20 minutes at the end of the show, but then he apologized to all the west coasters that the extra 20 minutes wouldn't be played on the replay. He said that he feels our pain, but it's out of his hands. He said that writing Tim will probably not do any good. He recommended writing Mutt, because Howard and Tim think Mutt can read the pulse of the fans.
I have written Tim more than a few times, and each time, I get a nice, polite, professional email replay, but the problem doesn't get fixed. That's because Tim doesn't see a problem. People wanted a morning show, and they got it. It doesn't matter if it's from midnight to 4:00 a.m., or 2:00 a.m to 6:00 a.m. on the west coast. It's still a morning show! Problem solved. End of discussion. Writing Tim won't do any good. We have to write to the Sirius email address on their page, plus we need to send snail mail letters. We have to flood them with paper. Then we have to start making phone calls to the Sirius customer service numbers. And if that doesn't work, we have to pull out the Sirius-XM card and start calling our congress people. I'm sure they won't care about Bubba's show, but if we can show a pattern of Sirius NOT responding to customer's complaints, how will Sirius respond after the merger when there is no competition? Perhaps we can put a bug in the ears of our congress people to jam up the merger? Just a thought. I'm tired of Bubba and his show being disrespected and I'm tired of us west coast fans being disrespected. |

| Friday's are horrible on the West Coast. MTT is horrid, the shit they play is old and not funny or topical. Then Bubba comes on at noon. Friday is now officially make a CD to bring to work day. |

Relax ... obviously things are still early in the "BTLS on Friday Morning" experiment
But if they feel committed they should do this IMO:
They should have BTLS live 6-10am EST, then a 10am-2pm replay, an hour of one of the specialty shows then another BTLS replay in his normal afternoon time (so his regular time-slot is not slighted)
I think its time to commit to BTLS Fridays on 101 & I'd keep MTT on Howard 100 because a lot of Howard fans are still not BTLS fans
The only thing that gets screwed with the above is a Ferrall overnight replay |

Good idea, but why not just do Bubba live from 6-10:30 (like it is now), then do a Ferrall replay from 10:30-2:30 (they might pick up some fans who are at work who don't normally hear much of his show), ) then start the Bubba replay for the west coast 1/2 hour early at 11:30 and it can run till 7 (playing it ALL). H100 news in review at 7 then Ferrall live at 8. This way you won't "over do" it on Bubba, pick up some fans for Ferrall, and the west coast gets full Bubba, including the half hour extra they do on Fridays. |

Yes. Been listening to them on Fridays since Howard stopped working Fridays. Octane, Hair Nation, Hard Attack, all great stuff.
Finally, after a year of "fill in" entertainment on H100 and H101 on Fridays, a real morning show with proven on air radio talent, The Bubba the Love Sponge Show!! Perfect! A slam dunk, grand slam, sure thing! What could possibley go wrong??
Oh! Broadcast it at a time when half the country won't hear it!! No problem!! The west coasters can hear the morning replay at NOON. Just like the west coasters do Monday through Friday. Except the show isn't chopped up and mangled Monday through Thursdays. We get screwed on the live show, then we get screwed on the replay. Perfect way to promote and sell Sirius. Always giving the fans what they want!

Tell you what. Why don't we just let Bubba and the crew sleep in on Fridays and work a regular shift and let ALL of Stern Nation and BRN Nation enjoy music in the morning? |
