baby.... no, I don't necessarily agree with Bubba on this subject. I think Brent has been around long enough to be able to decide whether he wants to surround himself with people or not. I don't like hearing Brent getting his balls busted cause he doesn't have enough friends over to his house...lol, people are different... At first glance you'd expect somebody who is "shut-in" to have a lower self-image, but I honestly see it the other way around. Bubba's insecurities are pretty evident at times... constantly looking for approval and acceptance from everybody, almost to a fault... while Brent, being content with the person he is and not looking to impress anybody can sit home alone without the worry of winning some perverse social popularity contests... I think Brent is pretty comfortable with himself, and that's what allows him to spend plenty of time home alone in peace and quiet. :) |

Well I guess we are just going to disagree very nicely on this. I am not insecure and I like to go out and have people around once in awhile, and I am perverse.. but not about popularity.
I just think it is unhealthy to be a shut in, and one of the points Bubba and Brent were making is that Brent might realize this in the future and change it just like he did with his health regime. |
