| that's what sucks about these forums. If you don't drink the kool-aid and mark out to everything, people think you're an A-hole. I am really trying to like Bubba, and I listen to him almost everyday. However, when he starts pushing his junk on us from 3:07 on, it gets a little old. Between the Bubba raw, and the shirts (endless shirts and new shirts every month) and the Ned this CD, and "his good friends over at Miller lite", It sounds like a Bubba commercial. I am a fan of good entertaining radio, and selling me a bunch of stuff isn't entertaining. |

| agree about the pay increase, but I don't think he'll get his own channel on satellite. he's good where he is. I only hope and pray that Sirius gives the BTLS crew the pay increases that they so richly deserve and that testicle radio doesn't lure them back at the end of the year! |

| I hope they really hook Bubba and the crew up when it comes time for a new contract. I used to be a XM/Opie and Anthony guy until I heard Bubba and Stern. Now, no more XM. Bubba puts on twice the show Stern does. Its more entertaining x10 than Stern. The only thing I will give Stern over Bubba is his interviewing skills. Anything else...Bubba owns him. I really hope Bubba gets a big dollar deal. He deserves it. If he doesnt..I hope he leaves and so will I and Im sure alot of other people. |

| simple solution: Get rid how stern replay's on h101, no west coast feed, one chan on a loop is good enough. get rid of 7 pm Shows. Replay bubba's show inplace of that west coast feed. and let bubba have option of going to 8 PM if he wants. No more cutting him off, that shit is lame. |

man I could not agree with you more theres a bunch of gestapo types in here. I've actually had post pulled. I can be a fan and not agree with EVERYTHING. I do like bubba stuff though.

I'm glad that you guys are full on supporters, but there can be opposing opions now and again. Bubba does a great show, but you can't compare his show to Howard's. Two totally different shows, in my opinion. Bubba is great at what he does. Howard is where he is now because of the YEARS of quality shows and also by being a "pioneer".
I listen to Bubba more now because his show has more of a Southern feel to it, even though Tampa is only Southern by geography. |

agreed, i love to just listen to bubba and his people, cause ya never know what the show is gunna be about.
but i think it will take a long time for bubba to match howards interviews.

I signed up for sirius because of howard, living in canada I had never heard or Bubba before, but as soon as 101 come online in Canada, instant bubba fan. Now, if bubba left, I would too. I couldnt give 2 hoots about riley martin or some of the other random stuff. Howard could also save a lot of money if he axed things like that and the news in place of giving bubba and ferrall an extra hour each. I think they would find a way to fill that time.
I think the howard west coast feed is unneeded, if someone wants to listen to the show so bad, its on 4 times a day on 100, no need to have a second channel to play the exact same thing. And if they want master tape theatre, they had might as well put it on a third channel and bring back the friday show to fill the time, it would be way more entertaining. |

Howard is at a different place in his life- age has mellowed him, Beth has mellowed him. He is not hungry anymore-

I TOTALLY agree. Bubba has a ton of energy and enthusiasm. I would love to see him signed up for ten years, if not I go where they go.
My only fear is that he might get to full of himself with his own channel and implode. I don't know what he was like before. I really hope that it wouldn't happen |

I don't think Bubba is just ready for his own channel yet.... I like Howard hes fine but the only and I mean the only reason I purchased Sirius was for Bubba the love sponge show. Bubba isnt to the caliber of Howard yet and by that I mean his interview skill. It will come however with some fit and finish.
I would love Bubba 24/7 on a channel so I can catch up on all the shows that I missed pre-purchase time. I had only heard about 14 hours of Bubba before I bought Sirius.
BTLS roundtable would be great I'd enjoy that, have the guys sittin around bsing about Bubba and stuff that went on that day. |
