| Just over 2 years old and it's fuckered. It won't turn on, it tries but the logo comes up and then it shuts off... repeat repeat repeat. :mad: |

| I talked to the people @ xact, 39.95 to get it fixed, PLUS shipping costs to them, as it's out of warranty. I have to boombox, etc, and I'd hate to get rid of it entirely...what to do, what to do! |

Mine did that after less than a year
Made a bunch of calls didnt get close to any help
Ended up getting a new one, then they cut my servide short a few moths early
Im probably done with sirius
I still come herre once and then to see whats going on bc i still love the show

I just replaced my first XTR-1 (also 2 years old, with same problem) and got one on E-Bay.
I have one other XTR-1, 5 universals kits and a Power Pod (and one in reserve), so another model was not a consideration.
The XTR-1 still has one of the best FM transmitters on the market and (with the Power Pod) is fully portable, and much cheaer than the Stiletto. |

The same exact thing just happened to my XACT XTR-1. It powers on and off once every 5 seconds but never stays on.
I called XACT and they gave me the $39.99 dollar deal for repair/replacement. When I asked the guy if he's heard of this happening before, he said he never did. Fucker! I thought I remembered reading something about it in here too a while ago. |

Obviously this is more of an issue than they let on, as three or more of us in here all have the same issue... |
