I have a tech question for anyone that can answer. I ran this issue by Sirius and they couldn't help.
I am on my laptop which is connected (no firewall) to my broadband connection. I have logged into Howard's Media Player, and to Sirius's player. I click on my channel and on Sirius it goes to connecting....ready. No sound and can't click on any channels. On Howard's media player I log on, select my channel and it appears that it is working, but no sound there either.
Here is the odd thing, I am able to stream local radio station here in NYC with no problems. I called Sirius and they don't know what the problem is, and I can't get a signal with my home antenna where I am.
Please help or I will be forced to listen to the Z100 zoo or some shit like that. Thanks in advance, and sorry if you read this entire thing and request that I post it in the "Who gives a shit section." |

Even though you say there's no firewall...you could be getting stopped by a simple built-in pop-up blocker...check through your internet settings...do you use IE or Mozilla? Firefox has a cool sirius plug-in. Also, make sure that you've done all your windows updates and have the latest media-player updates too.
If all else fails...install the widget-engine and the sirius-tuner...works great...

| Maybe you should see Urologist if you cannot stream. |

Hey, I had the same problem you had and the solution sucks... You have to make sure you are running the latest version of your browser, the latest version of your media player, and then if you are still having issues you have to delete all of your temporary internet files, history, cookies, and passwords - typically doing all of this will fix the problem.
I have to run through the deleting process at least once a week, but it solves the problem everytime. |

| I haven't been able to stream since last night. When I log into the Stern Media Player, it keeps telling me to try and connect again. |
