historic cold weather outbreak shattered records this morning in Charlotte and elsewhere in the Carolinas, producing bone-chilling conditions for Easter sunrise services.
Forecasters say a slow warming trend will begin today, but we face one more night of freezing weather.
The polar air outbreak that began Thursday reached the bottom this morning, when temperatures dropped to 21 degrees at 7 a.m. at Charlotte/Douglas International Airport.
That not only broke the low-temperature record for the date, but it was the coldest for any April day in Charlotte history.
Previously, the coldest temperature ever recorded in the month of April was 24 degrees, on April 1, 1923.

Week after week you post the same dumb shit despite being proven wrong EVERY TIME. One more time for the real "tards" in the room:
Weather is not climate. Weather is local.
Part of the pattern of serious climate change are extreme swings in weather from dry to wet, cold to hot, etc.. Here in PA we went from 70s to low 30s in a matter of 24 hours, so by pointing out these strange weather patterns all you are really doing is making yourself look even more like the fucking idiot we all thought you were.
congrats, corky :asskick: |

I don't buy into the man made component of global warming, but when you post the local weather report which has nothing to do with climate, you demonstrate that you don't know anything about the topic of global warming. Global warming, man made or not, will produce changes in local weather patterns, and that includes unusual cold snaps. |

| If you have been unlucky enough to read ANY of Holey Elvis' posts, you would see that is definitely the best he's got. In fact that might have been the most credible source he has cited. |

In 100 years from now, the average temperature on earth will DEFINITELY, ABSOLUTELY be hotter............or colder.
It will not be the same. |
