My favorite story about Jackie Robinson follows. It must have happened in Hank Greenberg's last year, because he was in the National League w/ the Pirates. Somehow Robinson tripped and fell by first base and big Hank went and helped him up. Everyone saw Hank saying something to Jackie but nobody really knows what was said. When Jackie was asked about Hank he said "Class tells. It sticks out all over Mr. Greenberg". It's sad what both of them had to go through, but the wrongs of history are always reminders.
It's going to be a great day for baseball. Any Jackie stories out there to share? |

| Jackie died 6 years before I was born so I don't have any personal memoirs to share. My grandfather was a diehard Brooklyn Dodger fan though. |
