Ive been watching Mayweather since his first TV fight and hes always been like that...just a prick.
The HBO show was great though, awesome production and 3 more shows to come...The PPV should break the record for non heavyweight fights easily...
I just hope HBO does this same deal with all their big fights...good way to show the personalities (bad or good) and the intense training they go through....Hell Oscar has Shane Mosley as a sparring partner! |

| I'm glad there's still a few boxing fans out there. Mayweather's got a lot of mouth but the only way oscar's gonna win is if he knocks him out. If this goes the distance (which it will) no way oscar can out point mayweather. |

I never hated Oscar. He is kinda snooty and arrogant in his own way, but he seems like an ok guy. Especially when you compare him to the never-humble Floyd Mayweather.
But this aint a personality contest. I'm trying to pick a winner. Oscar is only a +170 underdog. I agree withthe professional oddsmakers. He shouldn't be the favorite, but to say he has no hope is absurd.
Floyd is a supreme talent. But let's look at his record. He has beat some very good fighters, but no one close to Oscar's status. Say what you will about Oscar, but the fucker has fought more great champions than any fighter in recent memory. 2 of his 4 losses were robberies (The Trinidad and second Mosley fight.) Maybe he caught a few breaks along the way too, but his record is deep.
When Oscar was winning his first titles, Floyd was a 106 lb amateur. Oscar is the naturally bigger man, and not by a little. Unlike Oscar, Floyd hasn't been fighting the best opposition available. He's been a pro over ten years, and still hasn't had that kind of big win that Oscar's career is built on. Floyd's record is good, and his talent is undeniable. I'm not disparaging him.
Oscar will rise to the occasion. He's done it before and he's motivated. I bet on Chavez in the first fight with Oscar. Oscar is now as old as Julio was in that fight. Maybe I haven't learned my lesson. But I have the feeling that Oscar knows this is his last hurrah, and we will be seeing the best of him. I'm sure Floyd will be at a high level too. My gut tells me there's gonna be an upset.
Who knows? I have the sneaking suspicion that they're gonna try to set up a megabucks rematch, which can only happen if Oscar wins. There's always the shenanigans factor when handicapping fights. I'm gonna take Oscar. |

Beside the FIX, which there is a chance Oscar, has only two other possiabilities for a win.
KO, which he has proved he can do and Myweather taking him too lightly and not training hard enough.
The only thing that has me scared from not throwing my bank account on Flyod is that punch that Winky rocked him with, if Oscar lands that he wont let up, plus all the money for a fix in the rematch |

| Floyd never fought Winky. |

| Oscar has a history of winning fights he is supposed to lose. Anyone have any early odds on De La Hoya? |

| I look at him in the Hopkins fight and clearly see a man who don't want to fight or get knocked out. Its all good as long as he has the upper hand . |
