| I drive a truck in the NYC area and have had major problems with reception in the past week and especially today. Started driving at 7:30 am and had "aquiring sig" on my radio till about 1:00 pm. Even when it started working reception was spotty. I've always had excellent reception with my antenna before this. Anyone else in the NYC area having trouble? (I wish it only did this shit during repeats, not live shows) |

| I know a lot of people had issues with service yesterday. It was a little spotty here in the DC area also. |

The terrestrial repeaters in NYC always seem to have issues when it rains or snows. I wonder if the units are exposed to the outside or if the boxes leak and water gets into them. My experiences with Sirius tech support are that they don't believe they have a problem unless many people call in with the same complaint.
Also, don't let them tell you your antenna is bad; that's just a diversion (last summer they tried the same shit with me, so I hooked up 3 separate new antennas and proved the issue was their broadcast.) |

| I find the service has been getting worse lately over the past few months in the NJ/NYC area. Anyone else have the same experience? It keeps cutting out for a few seconds at a time and is really annoying when listening to music. I bought the same radio and antenna to Nebraska recently for a week and it worked fine so it's not the hardware. |
