Ok- so heres the deal. I bought the boombox for my plug and play radio but the reception wouldn't come in to clearly in my apartment. I went on the website and got this thing called the "Monster" antenna. It is supposed to make your reception better. BULLSHIT!!! The antenna is the same thing as the antenna that comes with the boombox except it says "monster" on it. I think I got robbed. If your gonna make something called "Monster", I wanna see an antenna the size of a box of pringles or something. Any suggestions on how to make the "Monster" antenna pick up a better signal?

Monster is the brand name, not a description.

Change the name to "Misleading", that would better describe it.

The monster brand will often just brand there name on existing products sold under other names and just charge more for them. But they will likely be better than others in terms of warranty.

Placing your antenna outside will help. If that doesn't work get the
Outdoor Home Antenna

After two shitty antennas, i paid $60 for one of these monsters and it has gone strong for over a year. Not one problem. Now if they could just start making s-50's.....

You've gotta use the outside antenna. . I used to have the same problem with the antenna that came with the home docking kit.

But if you install one of the outside antenna deals, it will work like a champ. That what I use, and then I just hook up the wire for the audio into the back of my TV, and put it on Video 2.

I had a rough time at first with my antenna for my home docking kit on my starmate replay, what I wound up doing was putting it outside my window & attaching it the outside wall & haven't had any problems since.

What exactly are you looking for? We carry more antennas for Sirius than anyone. But if you are looking to try to FIX your antenna, we don't sell the parts to do that, just to replace.
