That was some great stuff at the end of the 4/19 show when various staff members were being interviewed about what they thought was going on with Artie. They were all real concerned and it was some serious, sad, and compelling stuff. They had sad music playing over their comments and their comments were intercut with black and white footage of Artie stuffing his face with food.
Fred said he didn't think Artie would live to see 41 and Sal said he thinks Artie is back on drugs. Even Richard seemed real serious, the most serious I've ever seen him. He even seemed to lose most of his hillbilly accent. Then the shocking revelation at the end of Artie saying he made up the whole falling asleep on the escalator story because HR can't question medical excuses. Then he just walks off. Wow! Stuff like this is why I have Howard TV. |
