| I would pay if I could watch it online. They're not carrying HowardTV where I'm located at . |

i'm in the same boat as are ALOT of people, i assume.......
another sfn user (i forget who) posted a multitude of reasons why an online service made sense both for the fans and for howard, he was right in all of his points, imo...........
Howard needs to get with the times and find out something that the record companies had to learn the hard way-failing to adapt to the changing needs of the customer can only mean the customer finding other ways to consume the content in the manner that they want (i.e. piracy) |

The first few times I posted this, I did not realize that the OnDemand distribution of HTV is a 3-year exclusive lock but I'm still hopeful that something can happen.
Once again:
HTVOD would be far superior online than on cable.
An Internet subsription version would address many complaints directly:
Benefits:
- OnDemand would have direct control over which shows are available, no local provider can interfere
- content would be universally available regardless of geographic location
- all content could be available regardless of taping date - old stuff wouldn't disappear
- Searching for particular show content would be much better since it could use a real search engine
- Potentially less editing work for Doug and his crew!!! (described below)
- Raw, multi-camera versions of the same show could be uploaded directly - NO editing required
- Older E! content would supplement recently acquired MTT content
- No damn delays due to crappy providers
- Subscribers could create custom viewing profiles based on their favorite themes - it would list this automatically without having to search from scratch each time
- New, previously non-viewed content would list each time a subcriber returns to the site
This really would be "ON-DEMAND" ! |

It would be better if it were done like Bubba Raw. Shows could be archived so they wouldn't have to rotate shows. |

Those are wonderful points adam!
I have a question about BubbaRaw. Do they remove content and put new content up or do they just add more content to the site? Like say I wanted to watch an interview he had up 6 months ago, would it still be there? How many things are up at a given time? Is it like Howard TV and limited? |

There is still stuff up there going back to 2/3/2006. Some stuff from the very beginning has been taken down, but most of the stuff is still up there. |
