Nightbreed
Just today I heard my wife going off on my oldest son while on the phone from work and a buddy asked me what i was doin and I sad "listen'en to my wife cut a promo on my kid". Of course i had to explain what it meant but just wondered if any one else uses it in normal life as well?
Salkicksass
Yep
RoadBoy
I try too Mark out when I can
Clownpuncher
Yep...of course a couple of them I used before I ever heard bubba, particularly the ...willie... one but, now I defiantly use them more.
NedMarkJones
I use them all the time. I am always on the chip at work.
purelithium
I use "deal" a lot. I use brent-isms more often though. Such as "don't bust me up" or "rugged" and others.
trainwrecker22
all the time
BoggedUpWilly
I always have the iggy at work.
dedbrd
i find myself sayin bubba-ism's alot myself...i was explaining "on the chip" today at work
srdkevin
I have started to notice it more and more at our office there are four guys there it would say it happens atleast 5 times aday!
KC CULTIVATION
all the fucking time-but I'm hardcore
mkennedy02
I use them all the time. I my favorites are jones, willie, deal, backside, and kabuki'd out.
RedN'Dirty
Yep. I had to cut a big time promo on a guy in my department last week. He brought some of my equipment back damaged, and he had no idea who broke it.

I'm constantly using McGillicutty, Jones, and Kabuki'd out.

Here's another question....has anyone noticed their workplace resemble Bubba's show?

Mine is almost dead on. The only difference is there's no ball licking or fire ants on the balls. But, I have administered Liquid Ass....
Il Gatto
I haven't yet yet, but have used a few one-word terms. Definitely can see using more language down the road.
wintrspawn
I use it alot epec. Magillicuty, Jones, backside, willie, irritates my kids tremendously so I use it all the more :p
sigtaublacklabe
yeah.. i do it all the freakin time... even have messed up and done it to professors a few times
catdr9155
Oh yeah.... they all look at me strange when I tell them to sizz the dizz.. :D
Scales
I am having trouble explaining myself to others, without using it, and forget they don't know it.

That is a 'heat getter'.... 'I got a bit of heat for that on the backside' - I have been noticing myself using many things casually and people are starting to think I am weird.

O.k, even more weird, I guess.
spiceswingman
we use Bubba speak on the job site all the time. Construction worker lingo jives with Bubba speak.
greddy10
Around family/work no, around buddies yes.
sirartemuslange
Everytime I do the wife looks at me like I am the villiage idiot. I love it.
Hammbone
co-workers ask what I mean all the time I tell them to get Sirius and 2 of them have
obie74
Yes, at home a lot. The wife hated it at first but now I am catching her doing a lot of Bubba speak. LOL
SigmaSean
I've found myself using "full on hot" and "here's the deal" quite a bit lately. I use even more of their terminology when I'm thinking to myself.
JKGroups
I've used "deal" & the wrestling terms before BTLS but lately started using "iggy" out of nowhere a lot :D
JDawg3DX
Yup, I use Jones, Kabuki'd, cut a promo both at work and home...
Moggy
lol all the time and yes I get very strange looks!
fredfast
i use them alot also, the best one though is when your somewhere with another fan and you start talking in carnie !! the reaction you get is priceless.

has anyone else noticed that even howards show uses some of it in there day to day discusions? i know artie makes fun of "here's the deal" but ive heard howard and robin use it and not tryin to bury bubba ! also , bubbas crew now send " notes" wtf
Deep
I sure do. I even got other ppl to regularly use the words and never heard the show.
stumpy67
Yeah, without even trying. It's now a regular part of my vocabulary.
VENOM
yea, it was funny.... the first time i was playing a video game with my buddie, and he was kinda cheating , so i railed him with a few bubba-ism's in a row, and he had never heard bubba and gave me that look when a puppy hears an odd sound, i about pissed meself laughin'.....

my wife , just rolls her eyes and replies ' hey bubba-lite' get your mcgillicuty jones ass up, and take out the garbage'
tedeso
I used bubba speak monday on a rowlet, tx cop that caught me doing 55 in a 40. I was full hot on that pig and cut a promo on him for lying in the buckle brush KID! :D
LanceJr
Just used "putting him over" talking about the RedSox
WillieJones
I love slipping references in to see if people understand. Things like getting heat or putting something over. it's funny how people seem to understand.

My co-worker triple-righted me the other day and i had to point it out and explain. She loved it and now uses it with her hubby
OnTheChip1130
I use jones, deal, and on the chip all of the time, and none of my friends/family understand what the hell Im talking about.
nedmark61
i seem to use "jones" a lot..... blue bird jones etc......
rightrightright
Nobody knows what the fuck im talkin about anymore.... say cut a promo a bunch
ImBooper
Guilty.... Im such a mark!!!!!!!!! :D
saintsfan985
My wife recently asked me "Why do you keep saying Yo, Yo, Yo, all the time. Right!
Mytee Mouse
I too am guilty,

But havent we had two or three of these same threads about using bubba speak?
MadeInCanadaEh
I bought a sirius boombox so my landscaping crew can listen to bubba. They all get what im talking about when Im using bubba speak but if we are +1 for a day they have no idea whats going on. Its awesome. Ive caught myself using bubba speak at my second job at starbucks too. The reactions are halarious.

Brentisms--as in kissing someones ass?? I have never heard the phrase "love it" more than since I have started listening to BTLS
Nightbreed
Talk about a series of t-shirts...that would be hysterical.on the front left chest you're favorite Brent or Bubba-ism and on the back the definition. then you can advertise your favorite and the BRN
goldphoenix
I find myself doing it more and more lately. I'm in the coast guard and was out on a boat for a couple of days last week and I brought my sirius with me...the guys finally started understanding where I was getting it. now most of our crew are using bubba-isms.
Tom from T.O.
I use the big three at home, backside, Jones and heat and will throw them in at work at my clients as an inside joke to myself. I guess you had to be there.

"Kabookied out" is starting to gain in stature as well.
driver
When I'm trying to get somebody to listen to me I've been using "work with me kid". I used it on my mom when I was working on her trailer.
fredfast
i used to get away with bamboozooling my friends all the time before sirius, no they all have it and listen too so it takes the fun away ! :(
MISANTHROPE
willie, jones, kid, deal.
i don't mean to, they just spill out
IGOWFO
Willie, Jones, Kid, Cricket, ON the backside.
They just come out willie!
Goat Boy
Here's the Deal has turned into one of my daily sayings.
krescan
I suggested a mix-in jones to my gf the other day, had about the same results as bubba :(
mikeylive
I work in broadband sales. I found myself saying this the other day...

"Here's the deal: pick up a cable modem and a router and bam! WifiJones!!"
kevola
i find jones, willy and mcgillicutty creeping more and more into my vocabulary. i'm constantly saying "here's the deal" before i explain things to people at work....it's gonna be great when the new "deal" shirts come in...maybe it will make a bit more sense as to why i say it so much.

the biggest heat getter i've encountered with bubba-speak so far is with my mom...she absolutely hates it when i say i "took a shit on the deal"... her reply is usually "why do you say that...that's disgusting!"
BryanG
i love telling my employee's "learn how to work kid" when they fuckup.
harleyflht
catch myself using them all the time
thedizz
I say kid most of the time when I am around my son and his friends.Like hey kid don't do that,or hey kid chill out,hey kid put that down. When my son is trying to con me I always say quit triyng to work me kid I already know the deal.
Goodfella1120
Learn how to work
I call my cat Mcgillicutty
Say kabuki'd out all of the time
on the chip
jones

:D
chucksciano
I use them all jones, Mcgillicutty, willy, on the chip, on the backside. We are all Bubba's little sheep.

Chuck
TJGoSurf
Nothing better than yelling shenanigans after catching your employee lying to you.
Mutt
I do. I try not to not I can't help it.
tbush
cant stop tizzalking carney
madhi19
Bubba is starting to fuck all our brain out with his screw up way to talk. lolll I started using some of the classic like "Here the deal!" And "You got to know how to work kid" most people don't get it but from time to time somebody do and it make for a good laugh.
Bryan Miller
I sometimes catch myself doing it, but mostly it comes out without thinking about it. I said "Jones" at the end of something I was saying, and my wife made fun of me about it and told me to "pick up some milk on the way back from Tampa."
gasdriverca
yep I do & I also seem to say things from Howards show also.
FatDog38
I use Bubba Speak all the time..Most people have no idea what I mean..
bigdz44
Wife and I do it all the time, especially when watching tv or talking about our son!
RainCrystal
I use them all the time!
