given this logic, does the Iraqi Republican Guard fall under this ideological umbrella given its semantic relationship?
does he also believe that the US is not a "Democracy"?
I mean if 10% of the allegations he has leveled against the Bush Administration were true... why does he continue to be a member of Bush's political party? |

Maybe it will be one of the many factors that leads to breaking the stranglehold of the GOP by the fanatics that hold sway over it now.
:secret: The Dems have zero cred. |

The United States is not a democracy, it is a republic. The term liberal democracy is a synonym for republic, but do not let that confuse you. |

A Republic is a form of government... the one we happen to live under. America is a Republic by design.

The US is NOT a Democracy... it is a Republic. A very important difference, our founding fathers specified... SPECIFICALLY :D

Bush and the neo-con socialists have hijacked the Republican party, there is no doubt about that, but that does not mean that they own the party. Ron Paul is campaigning to "reinstate the Constitution and restore the Republic." To do so he must directly challenge the status quo, and he is better able to do so competing within one of the dominant parties. |

welcome back to Earth, Martians.
the US ceased to be a Republic in 1865.
the Founding Fathers also SPECIFIED SPECIFICALLY that the United States would be slave-owning country.
the analogy fails. |
