| I do not get the chance to post very often but today's ICP interview really got to me. I am a big fan of the show and I hate when Bubba'a producer's hang him out to dry. I think Bubba is one of the most talented hosts in radio. I mean HOWARD STERN handpicked him for god sakes! When are his producers going to fully recognize his talent and the fact that they are on a national stage. It was one thing for his producers not take the opportunity to produce some kind of bit to goof on an embarrassing act to entertainment. There did not even seem to be any kind of pre-interview to at least get good stories. There did not seem to be any interesting questions for Bubba to ask. When Spice spoke up it was to ask their opinion on the current state of hip hop and current artists. These are questions you here on the morning zoo not the uncensored Bubba the Love Sponge show. I realize as a fan that Bubba can not keep up with everything and I expect that. I assume this is why he hires people around him. The idea that Bubba was made to look like he was putting these guys over is crazy. I know if Brent read this he was get mad and say I know about radio and probably threaten to kick my ass. But I challenge him to listen back to interview and try and imagine any other show doing the same material. If you’re honest with yourself you and Spice will want to apologize to Bubba. I am not trying slam you guys its just you guys have the chance of a lifetime! Allot of people are listening! |
