I know the sound, and the problem. there is a felt like material inside the synchro mesh that speeds up the shaft as you go into high, when it tears off or wears out (very common with Eaton/Fuller) it will grind going from hi to low or vice versa. the back of the tranny has to be removed to repair it......we've had every one of ours do it |

so far it only does it low to high,high to low is OK....Ive tried several different shifts (3rd to 5th,4th direct to 5th over etc etc) but doesnt seem to matter...its drivable,just dont want it to get worse and/or leave me stranded... |

When I lived in Seattle proper , I had several shop I would hit one made the best drip, one made great americanos and another made perfect machachiatos . I would show up they would see me and say you want your usual or like you said they'd start to make it when they say me...have you heard of jaguar coffe the natives follow jaguar trails picking up the coffe berrys that the jag would shit . It turns out the jag's stomach is the roasting proccess....???...$75 a 1/4 pound...lol |
