Dana White had a conference call today. Some of the major points were:
- The PRIDE deal is not done yet, the whole thing is a mess, but it will get done
- HBO is still in the works
- More coverage on ESPN Sportscenter, ESPN news, etc.
- SI cover is huge
- They aren't too big for anywhere (Working on D.C. for the fall then Chicago, Detroit, Philly, and NYC)
- Wanderlei and Fedor will be taken care of
- Shogun is signed
- Someone is going to challenge the winner of Liddell/Jackson on Saturday Night (probably Shogun) for UFC 75 in September or UFC 76 in October. |

nice... thanks for posting... will definitely be up for a DC UFC... probably at the MCI center..
will also be great seeing shogun in the cage... rampage can't be too happy about that... |

yeah... I REALLY really underestimated dana... you hear him talk and he appears as capable of managing the UFC as artie does his waistline... but his record speaks for itself... |
