Mikey and those like him will be responsible for putting Hillary in the White House if they continue to support the likes of Giuliani.

Do you seriously think that Ron Paul can win the GOP nomination?

It is certainly a possibility, as I have explained.

I'm not saying that it isn't a "possibility." Right now anything is possible, but you must admit that a GOP nomination is quite a longshot.

Look, I agree with some of his positions, and I think he will get some grassroot support as the months move on. But (unfortunately) this process boils down to money, and he isn't going to have nearly as much to survive the primaries next year. Who knows, I could be completely wrong, but I just don't see how it happens.

Ron Paul will probably run as in Independent. He could get enough votes to get matching federal funds but as a libertarian I doubt he would accept those funds.

so you are apathetic about how our leaders get there - bad American you are

Some of you guys are living in a world of make believe. There is no such thing as grass roots campaigns. Money elects candidates. The fix is in. Hilliary has the backing of the Democratic machine. Every week another influential Democrat throws their support behind Hilliary. She has them lined up for months to come. It's all orchestrated and based on the timing of the "campaign". Same on the Republican side

I usually disagree with the majority of the posts from VTW and zimmie, but in this case I think they are correct.

I would love for Ron Paul to be the GOP nomination. I think he truly represents what the Republican Party should stand for as opposed to what it is today. But I think I would have just as good a chance of being nominated as he does. He's not the "it" candidate. But I guarentee he is the smartest and the most honest out of all the candidates out there. He doesn't spout the usual cliches and rhetoric the other candidates do.

The phrase "money talks and bullshit walks" defines what our Presidential elections have become. That's why we'll never get the best candidates, in terms of doing what is best for the American people, but those who will do right by the big time contributors, ala corporations, people of power, etc.

Ron Paul tells the truth and thats not what people want to hear.

If the vote was today I would vote for Ron Paul. In fact, the only thing that is stopping me from voting Paul in the primary is Gingrich. If Newt runs he has my vote, and financial support!!!!!

Newt supports censorship on the internet and during foreign conflicts. He had divorce papers delivered to one of his wives when she was dying in the hospital. Newt is a creep.

He couldn't get the internet stuff to pass. And the stuff with the divorce I don't really care about. He is the only one, R or D, that is really putting not only his views out there, but offing solutions too. I like that.

Why am I a douche bag because I would vote for Newt?

Do you know it's my Constitutional right to vote for whoever I choose?

The Constitution, you know, the document that liberals like to pretend stops after the First Amendment.
