I do introductions for a lot of people, in the weeks before I'm to do the introductions to the audience I collect biographies from the presenters. There are three flavours to the biographies: No response, then I just wing it and if I know the person I have a bit of fun; A brief who, what, when and where. These typically include their credentials, universities attended and dates; The prepared biography. These consist of a carefully crafted biography that I'm expected to more or less present as written. It might include anecdotes, their life history or whatever else they feel that should be said about themselves.
From your shameless self-promotion at this site I would peg you as the third. |

Obviously you are late to the game. The guy is full of shit up to his eyeballs.
He regularly gets proven wrong, but has attempted to use himself as a source.
He crowbars irrelevant details about his life into every discussion then cries like a bitch when he becomes the target of jokes.
He claimed he fucked Jenny McCarthy, then when he was challenged on some of his ludicrous claims he demanded someone bet him. That is until I asked him how he proposed to prove he fucked her and withdrew his bet, calling me a "coward". Then he demanded that I sue him so he could "prove" it was true. That was follwed by threats to sue everyone here who insulted him.
He also claims he fucked Kim Cattrall and "several" playboy models.
In other words, he is an escaped mental patient. "Partisanship" plays no part in my opinion that he is a douche. |

9-11 = Islamo-phobia? That may be correct and it may not.
Maybe it's news to you AB but your personal attacks do not amuse everyone. You're much more effective, impressive and dominating when you stick to the issues. Just sayin.
How you can dismiss his post about a Public university spending Taxpayer money to accommodate a religion is beyond me. It's a valid point, going directly to separation between church and state and doesn't deserved to be summarily dismissed as Islamo-phobia. |

Is it because they accomodated ALL religions, or just Islam that it frightens you people so much?
I am 100% agnostic and hate the thought of one dime of my tax dollars going towards anything having to do with religion of any stripe. But since we don't live in that world, all religions should be getting equal support from our government.
What accomodations has the University made for Christian students?
And for the most part I attack those who attack me. I don't believe I have ever "attacked" you, have I? And there are many others who disagree with me on many issues I have never attacked.

The chapel is non-denominational. A foot-basin is not. Let's get rid of both before the religious nuts start demanding all sorts of accommodations. The point was separation of church and state, not whether there was already a violation.
And yes, it does bother me that the university has accommodated of religion of Islam. and I'll be honest, it bothers me MORE so had they accommodated another religion. Why? Because the polling data of Muslims in America is not comforting. Muslim are not interested in assimilating, they want Sharia law and want the government to force accommodations for their religion in the workplace. None of the polling data suggests they will be happy with a foot basin at the university and they will press for more accommodations so why break the separation of church and state to appease them in the first place?
I freely admit, I don't like the Muslim religion and the way it subjugates it's women. I don't like the militant aspect of Islam and sure as hell don't like the radical ideology this religion has spawned. I guess that makes me an Islamophobe too. So be it. Few Muslim countries are free and Islamists battle for control in countries that have what's considered moderate governments. Islamists are an alarming fact of life. We have a constitution in this country and we should in no way shape or form accommodate Islam or any other religion.
As for my other point AB, I remember when I first joined the forum, it seemed there was less interpersonal bullshit and more discussion of ideas but I may be full of shit. Maybe I just remember it the way I want it to be... |
