When the United States, Israel and most major international nations decided to isolate Hamas I doubt they could foresee a bloody civil war breaking out in the Gaza Strip. International boycotts clearly backfired and failed to stop Hamas. Though it did keep Hamas from governing. Fatah on the other hand, never rose to the occasion that the U.S. and others thought it would.
There is no question this will spread and spill into Israel.
Back in Feburary Saudi King Abdullah used money and pressure to form a joint government between Hamas and Fatah- over a billion dollars was promised to make the coalition government work.
All the nations supporting Fatah would have nothing to do with it. The press did not see this coming. None of us saw it coming. The entire world was caught off guard watching Palestinians, unarmed, risking their lives to beg the snipers to stop.
It gets worse.
Unless both sides ask for international peace keepers to come in, it can't legally be done.
That means we are watching the unravelling of the Middle East. As this conflict spreads our press, politicians and citizens wonder why.
Now you know.

I caught this little bit on Hannity and Colmes last night where they were showing footage of this gaza thing and Colmes goes...
"Civil war breaks out in Gaza, how could this effect the region and could Iraq end up like this?"
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA... then they cut to footage of Iraq and it looked even worse than Gaza.. all the buildings are bombed out and there's burning cars and dudes in ski masks with AK's everywhere...
And all these faggots on the right still have the nerve to say "if we leave it will turn into chaos"

Hamas and Fatah are at war and that will spread throughout the region.
At this point, it has nothing to do with us being there, but our decision to block Hamas has clearly backfired.
Too bad we didn't give the deal King Abdulluh negotiated a chance for a shared government.
But at the time, no one knew it would play out like this.
This is going to be far worse than Iraq as it spreads. |

I don't think they will "get better" per se' but how could it really get any worse?
if we leave now at least our guys will stop dying policing their neighborhoods... it's their country and we need to get out of the way and let them deal with their problems.
We also need troops in crucial fronts like Afghanistan. |

As this war spreads into a world war Afghanistan is not seperate from Iraq.
They are different fronts in one war.
When we lost the Phillipines and 70,000 troops just months after Pearl Harbor that did not mean the Pacific War was over. |

If we leave, it will degrade into a Somalia at best. And that is much worse than the status quo.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think we should have ever gone in there. However, if we do leave, I don't think that our interests will be served at all.
Also, leaving all those in Iraq that threw themselves behind the US will most likely be slaughtered in quick order. Like it or not, we committed to these people on some level, and leaving them to die like that is straight up dishonorable. |

If we leave it will continue chaos. We won't be able to kill the enemy. Of course they won't kill us either, at least not in Iraq. We should leave Iraq, and also Afghanistan.

Actually I never said I would, but asking a friend who is also one of my lawyers was taken that way.
There have been lawsuits filed on exs complaining about their spouses and the like, they have been sued and not laughed out of court.
Anyone who did not consult a lawyer and took the words of some yahoo around here should rethink the position.
A lawsuit could also be filed in any country that can get the board- making it liable to UK laws.
Put another way, the Enquirer could never be published in the UK.

I didn't pay, but he is one of my lawyers. He has argued twice in front of the Illinois Supreme Court. His brother filed the first impeachment suit against Bush years ago by the way, so we are in deep disagreement over the direction to take in the Jihad War.
But he is also my friend and we go to dinner together.
Yeah you guys play some weird semantics game, search for hidden intentions, then fly off the handle.
I would not waste my time asking you for medical advice or legal advice or questions on either.
I also have dinner with my doctor once a week - but if I ask about an operation, that doesn't mean I'm either going to get one myself or get one for someone else.
So I'm condemned for asking someone who would know.

What were the repurcussions of both telling the truth on regular people (non entertainment based) and total complete falsehoods, personal attacks, libel, slander, second hand knowledge etc that was being used against me.
Which was the bottom line. All who went down the path of not believing were simply wrong.
But it is strange to read that shit. When something you know that did occur is called into question it is a very Kafka like moment.
It is interesting to look back on through the eyes of believing what I said was true. Whitch remains true.
The same people who claim to hate poitical witchhunts have no problem engaging in complete fantasies to dismantle someone.
No wonder so many believe Bush was behind 911.
It was a strange group hysteria. I survived, with my memories intact.
For those of you who might be adults- when we were kids having a friend who was an auto mechanic for our parents was a big deal.
Today a computer whiz, a doctor and a lawyer are not too shabby to count as friends either.
I will let the paranoid pick those words apart to their desire. |
