| I guess Howard has no idea that this sound drop from "The Price is Right" was made popular by Bubba and his crew first. I find myself making that "defeat" sound effect all the time now because of BTLS. Richard needs to own-up to where he got the idea for this new sound drop that Howard finds so amusing. Yet another example of "The Bubba Effect" on Sirius! |

the worst was the caller who brought up the bubba link, but didn't mention the sad noise.. duh duh duh duh... which is really the ripoff.
also note sal being influenced by manson recently... any songs where they put in audio drops is a manson innovation largely. go manson |

| the melody is not just restricted to the shit show bubba the love sponge. In fact I hated the sound effect on the Bubba show. It has a way better sound to it on the Howard Stern show |

| Socal you're just wrong here man, i love howard and have listened to him since he's come to LA but the all the price is right stuff sounds better on Bubba's show period.Richard should've never even touched those sounds, because the shows are too close in relationship to each other doesn't mean it's not a clear rip off. |

| The Price is right is in the news and thats why they used it. Besides, Fred's use of the clip is limited to Booey screwups, Bubba uses it much more broadly. It's not a ripoff any more than the "Brent Hatley" songs are copies of Booey songs. |

he's been ripped off so much that it's now ok to take a little back here and there
not to mention he likes bubba and knows "a little" about his show. He may listen but there's not much else to it. He and bubba never retain anything that they hear anyway.

| Kind of a weird argument since Howard had "Jeff the Joke Thief" on the show today. I think they share each other's stuff, and that doesn't bother me a bit.....but Fred's sound effects will always rule. Bubba doesn't really seem to use too many sound effects, and I don't think his show actually needs them. It's fine the way it is. |
