I sent this to the show, but I thought y'all would appreciate this as well
Just thought I’d drop a line of appreciation of your guy’s work, because after this week, I was re-educated as to why I got Sirius….
I’m a fan of the show from Cincinnati. My wife and I just recently got back from vacation from Charleston. It’s about an 11 hour drive to get there altogether, and the drive to Charleston was made that much more enjoyable while being able to listen to your show, Howard and the nonstop music on the rock stations.
But, while we were driving around in Charleston, the receiver went dead. There was nothing I could do to get it going again. Turned out when we got back home that it was the cigarette lighter power adapter, because when I plugged it in my home docking unit at home, it worked like a charm.
Obviously, the drive back home was made longer without you guys. While fiddling through the local stations in South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Ohio, it became apparent as to how much terrestrial truly sucks nowadays. I know you guys preach about it, but nothing speaks louder than personal experience. After getting a decent sized cross section of several states’ radio “entertainment” it’s amazing how amateur terrestrial radio personalities sound when compared to the personalities Sirius offers. Then, on top of it, the music playlists of those stations all virtually sound the same.
It was like going from eating Prime Rib to eating Potted Meat.
So, needless to say when I found out the receiver was OK, and tuned it in on 101 in time to hear the Akira dating game debacle, it was like a breath of fresh air to hear radio gold again.
Keep up the great work, you guys and Howard are truly the best programs worth listening to on radio.

| I work for a car dealership and I'm always taking a different car. I swap my car kit to another vehicle each day. I wouldn't be able to take the 1 hour commute without it. |
