Heard Bubba going crazy today about children in Iraq being killed by IED's ( Improvised Explosive Devices).
Bubba said "WE" killed them, which sounds to me like he is blaming our military for the death's of these kids. Doesn't Bubba realize that in war, there will be casualties???
Hey Bubba---did you ever think about the children left without a Mom or Dad when 9/11 took place? Get off your high-horse, and stop listening to Brent, and think this through. We also lost innocent children on 9/11, and the terrorists didn't care who was killed.
The children being killed in Iraq are being killed by their own people. These same people would kill you and me, Tyler or Julia, Ned or Manson, or anyone else who doesn't believe in their religious rhetoric.

It is time the people start viewing the deaths of Iraqi chidlern as an equivalent to the death of our own children. Only then will you get a chance for peace. The children being killed in Iraq have fuck all to do with terrorism, they just want to live another day. |

Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9/11 you fucking retard. The Iraqi government was a SECULAR government the RELIGIOUS EXTREMEST (like Bin Laden) hated Saddam because he didn't run his country with Islam as the rule of law.

| After 9/11, we realized that we had that huge target painted on us. Instead of killing the crazy fuck who wanted to destroy us, we transferred this war on Iraq. By putting American soldier on the ground there, we invited the maniac to fight us there. Now all the craze out Muslims who want to kill American or British Citizen all they got to do is go to Iraq. And if they want to kill Canadian, they go to Afghanistan. The normal folks in Iraq are paying the price for our security. |

This is not a WAR, it was an INVASION. We "went to war" with Iraq because there was a link between 911, they had weapons of mass destruction, and they were harboring terrorists. ALL OF WHICH HAS BEEN PROVEN TO BE FALSE! We INVADED Iraq under false pretenses.
Unfortunately, innocent American Soldiers and Iraqi citizens now have to pay with their lives because of our ignorant President and the stupid fucks like YOU that support him!

We invaded Iraq because Saddam was in flagrant violation of UN sanctions that he agreed to. He refused the weapons inspectors access. Thinking that he has something to hide in that situation is perfectly reasonable. We were entirely justified in invading just based on this.
This is not why we DID tho. We needed a beach-head in the middle-east to base the war on terror from. Afghanistan was too far gone to use. No infrastructure left intact. (That was the Russians that did that, not us)
Look at it this way, what if he HAD had a nuke and we DIDN'T do anything about it when he told the weapons inspectors to fuck off? Then the discussion woulda been criticizing the administration for doing nothing when all the signs were there. |

Let me give you a brief timeline of terrorism that has affected our country. Correct me if I'm wrong.
In 1979, Iran takes American hostages. Ronald Reagan is elected President, and hostages are released in 1980.
In 1984, Libya shoots down civilian aircraft. America retaliates by bombing Quaddafi's home.
In 1990, Iraq invades Kuwait. America responds by crushing Iraqi military. Moral is high in USA.

United States Embassies are blown up around the world.
The USS Cole is bombed.
The World Trade Center is bombed.
America retaliates by sending cruise missiles into mountains of Afghanistan.
1999, terrorists are arrested in Seattle at Sea-Tac Airport, wanting to blow up the Space Needle.
2001, September 11.....The worst terrorist attack on American soil takes place, killing 3000 innocent Americans. Majority of Americans say USA must retaliate.
June 23rd, 2007.......numerous terrorists plots have been foiled, keeping Americans safe and sound. |

You forgot about the Beirut bombings that happened on Oct. 23, 1983. Let's see that happened on Reagan's watch, and his response was to pull out of the country. France actually retaliated for the attack but Reagan did not. I guess you just "overlooked" this act, but I have a friend who is disabled from it. He hasn't overlooked it, and our government's response. Also you might want to note that:

On that same note, Kim Chong-il proclaimed that North Korea had nuclear weapons in late 2002 prior to Hans Blix leading UN inspectors into Iraq. The NIE released a report prior to the Hans Blix inspections refuting the Bush Administration's British based, Italian gathered "intelligence" on Iraq's WMD. The assertion that the Bush Administration made and that the American media carried is that Saddam kicked inspectors out, no, Bush ordered them out before they could complete their inspections and then invaded Iraq.
