I made good money for my day (it was only 20 some odd years ago). Nothing compared to the Arods of the world but I live pretty comfortably. Let's not forget I am an accomplished broadcaster now and national spokesman |

| First off it's Hernandez, and he's a much better broadcaster than Fran Healey ever was. He might go down as the worst Mets broadcaster in history. I remember watching games with my Grandfather where he would turn the volume down on the TV when he did games on Sports Channel and listened to Bob Murphy on the radio instead. |

Again, Fran Healy was a sarcastic comparison but Fernandez isn't much better.

He was a large reason why the Mets won the Series in 86 so anybody who roots for the Mets will always have a special place for Keith.
Keith is far from a prick( at least on the air), he is sarcastic but he is one of the best color guys out there.
I hated Seaver about as much as I hated any color guy in my life...Maybe it's me but I dont think so. |

I'll give him one thing, he keeps it simple, but maybe that is why some don't like or get Seaver, he's more detailed oriented and talks over a lot of peoples heads. Sorta like Bush vs. Gore?kerry. Bush spoke to every common man and Gore and Kerry were far too smart for the typical person. |

The Mets current 5 is good enough to get into the playoffs, but they need another arm if they are going to make a serious run at the World Series. No one knows what Pedro is going to do when he comes back, but from what I have heard he is pitching quite well. They really need bullpen help as last years pen was much stronger all around |

I was watching the Phillies game last night when I was in Philly, damn talk about awful coverage. I dont know what was worse the game coverage (the dude with the deep voice is the man, the other dude/dudes are awful) or the post game coverage.
