anybody catch about a week ago when bubba was talking to ned and he said...
you arent even real...
then he quickly backtracked and said...
that didnt sound real. i thought it was a funny slip up just because of all the bantering about if the ned character is real or not. |

i agree ned rocks...i should go back and find that slip up so others can listen to it. i have the show saved on my s50.
i also just want to say that when i first started listening to bubba last year, it made me crazy about the "reality" of ned. im still not sure about on what level he is real, but i find myself not thinking about it that much.
i think it is one of those stages one goes through when listening. ive only been listening since january 06 when he came to sirius. it took about two weeks to make the lingo sound normal without having to think about it.
it took about a full year to come to terms with nedley.
i will find the time and date sometime tonight or tom. just because i thought it was amusing.
about a year ago it would have driven me crazy and i would have been like...whoa...what does that mean... |

I come back to….you are reading too much into it. Simple point is…does Ned make you laugh? Do you find him funny? Was the comment you heard even in context? Don’t hang too closely to every word Bubba says. He messes up names all the time. I’ve can’t count the times I’ve heard Bubba call someone the wrong name. Bubba can’t see most the other crew members plus has serious ADD and is doing a live radio show at the same time. These things happen. Just enjoy the show and have fun with it. |

| Yeah I caught it. He said it because Spice was talking about how he would fuck Janie Cakes or maybe just checking out her tits. He said it was allright for Ned to talk that way since he didn't stand a chance, but it wasn't ok for Spice. There is always a lot of works going on. I think the Joe the Supermark deal is a work or is atleast on its way of being a work since I think Tim the Bulldog would have shut that one down by now. The show is funny as hell and some of the more disturbing stuff, you atleast hope is a work, so I wouldn't get to fired up as long as you are entertained. |

| I think that if there are able to keep up with a made up character for this long that they really have talent. There are plenty of references or slip ups to him being a ficticious character but really who cares he's entertaining. |
