Had they waited & it turned out that the familiy was murdered by someone OTHER than Chris Benoit, they'd be given shit for not doing one last night. They are screwed either way. They did the RIGHT THING at the time but of course hindsight is always 20/20 so it's easy to pick this shit apart after the fact. |

I just thought I'd hop on here since I write about wrestling for the largest news web site out of Canada (www.canoe.ca). Its the site that hosts the Toronto Sun, Edmonton Sun, etc.
They currently have my article that I wrote about Nancy Benoit, his wife....who was a performer from 1984-1998 or so. |

I last interviewed Benoit in February. I asked him about the exploitation of Edddie Guerrero, among other things. He was VERY displeased with my question.
And didn't think it was exploitation. It was...DUDE. |

I get paid very little...but its wrestling. Who else gets paid to write about wrestling? Not many.
I was up all night doing the BIO on Nancy, his wife...who I never met. But no one ever spoke poorly of her.
Benoit is a well known steroid user in the past. I am not sure about currently. They did release he PASSED a steroid test a few months ago.
But those tests are bullshit. |

Exactly. Guess Vince stopping his fake "Death" angle & having a Tribute for Benoit last night was his way of making up for using Eddies death in angles & completely glossing over the fact that a Female Wrestling legend in Sherri Martel had just passed away a week or so ago & it was barely mentioned in a show full of fake bullshit over HIS death. |

From what I read, the WWE backstage was a mess and VINCE was the rock holding everything together.
