I am a Howard fan that tuned into Bubba for the first time on Sirius and quickly became a Bubba fan. I wanted Bubba to work out as a great talent for the afternoon original programmig on Howard's channel.
I have to say that his stunt with .25 cent on Friday was the most shocking and sick radio I have ever heard. It may have sounded funny as an idea to "scare a spook" as "radio gold" as a bit, but regardless of the race issue, it was down right pathetic.
How could Bubba and all the others in attendence do someithing like that to someone "on the team" like .25 cent. I feel listening to it, that .25 cent made it perfectly clear that he did not want the bit to proceed any further once the snakes came in contact with his body.
Bubba himself kept pushing the bit along by saying "let's just try this one more thing" and proceeding to have the snakes come in contact with another body part. All to .25 cents apeall to stop, he even envoked the race card at one point.
Bubba, your show can be very entertaining and funny without the nonsense you did on Friday with .25 cent. You pushed the envelope too far, without reason, and brother I hope you pay for it. That was stupid. You didn't have to do it. Good luck back on terestrial radio. |

I didn't agree with it either but you know what I did? I changed the channel...It was easy...They aren't gonne cancel Bubba...Bubba is smart Im sure he has an iron tight contract about early termination like he did with clear channel...
If you don't like something that you hear on Bubba turn the channel or email him. Covino and Rich put on a pretty decent show on Maxim 108 at the same time as bubba that's where I go |

First off, I heard the bit and thought it was great radio.
However, IF it was real, and they really did threaten 25 cent with a tazer and forcibly bind him to the torture rack, it was a felony. IF 25 is actually pissed off and wants to sue, it's a slam dunk. All his lawyer will have to say is, "what was that bit called again?" Sirius will fire bubba quicker than you can say, "love sponge," and the whole lot will be out trolling for some backwater terrestrial radio station to give them a risk.
That said, I'm assuming it was all just a bit, 25 was in on it the whole time, and that the point was just to scare the s out of Tim Sabian and the rest of the big wigs up in New York, Howard included.
If so, then it was damn good radio, and kudos to Bubba and the rest of team.
We'll see what the fallout is Monday - when was Bubba supposed to go on vacation, again? |

I'm pretty sure it was all kayfabe because it'd be illegal if Bubba and the rest of the crew indeed did do all those things. I could count in my head with each offense and it's definitely a work. If not they'd be sitting in jail right now.
If it was a shoot, Sirius would have cut the cord right after 25 Cent got choked out and they went to a commercial. |

I really do hope it was all a big joke. I do like his show and know it is all about messing with each other. I have never been one to pussy out on shit like that. If it was true most of you others agree that it went to far.

The insiders report that Sirius will hand pick a few of Bubba's shows to re-run over the course of the next week, and through the course of the week will slowly begin the phase-out process. Initial reports also suggest litigation by the character known as 25 Cent on the BTLS radio show for false imprisonment and mental damages.
